As part of our road trip in Atlantic Canada, we spent two nights at the Wellshire Bed and Breakfast It is a beautiful and very comfortable inn with a very welcoming and professional host. The rooms are delightful as are the bathrooms. The beds are comfortable and the linens lovely. Robin has thought of everything to make his guests feel... More

We have stayed at many superb B and B’s over the years - this is the best one. First of all it’s in Lunenburg which is an absolutely gorgeous town, full of history, wonderful colour, and great seafood. While the location is outstanding, this B and B would be a welcome stop anywhere because Robin is a most gracious host... More

We were fortunate to stay for five nights at this fabulous B and B. Robin has clearly put a great deal of thought into providing every possible comfort and we couldn't have asked for more. There is coffee, tea and snacks in the room along with a fridge, flatscreen television and Wifi. There are bathrobes, slippers and plush bath towels... More

My husband, 5 year old son and I did a 3 week tour of NB, NS and PEI from June 24 to July 14. Along our way we made plans to meet close friends from Moncton in Lunenburg, so I booked the Wellshire. Of course you never really know what you are booking, except for online comments and photos. Well,... More

After spending a night at the Wellshire B&B it is very clear why it has been rated #1 by other visitors. Robin is a gracious and informative host who prepared a tremendous breakfast from a varied menu - blueberry pancakes to smoked salmon and much, much more. The house and property is spectacular and very clean. Please take Robin's recommendation... More

Robin's home is, without a doubt, a beautiful place to explore Lunenburg. It's only 4 blocks from the harbour with on site parking. Accommodation's: We stayed in the one double room with an external bath. Everything you would expect from a hotel room, but in a B&B, is there. Mini fridge, coffee/tea maker, etc. The external bath was ..spa like.... More

Stayed one night at this B&B, our first night in Nova Scotia. The room (#2) was really lovely, and quiet. It was such a treat going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the fountain in Robin’s garden. It was neat being able to choose our own breakfast options from a menu the night before and Robin was... More

This is the One of the best B&Bs we have ever visited; the house is newly built and beautiful, our room and the bathroom were sparkling clean, modern, comfortable, even luxurious. Four choices of meal for breakfast, including smoked salmon on toasted bread which was worthy of the best restaurants. Most importantly, the owner was incredibly nice to us. Very... More

We had a wonderful stay at the Wellshire last week. We stayed one night in Room 1. Robin had thought of everything in terms of amenities, including access to a washer and dryer which was very much appreciated. The breakfast was wonderful and Robin's restaurant suggestions were bang on. We had a great dinner at Salt Shaker. We have recommended... More

My wife and I spent one night at the Wellshire and would have been happy to have stayed longer. The house was thoroughly remodeled about 3 years ago after a fire and the interior design is lovely. The host is an interesting conversationalist and the breakfast was excellent. Lunenburg is a pleasant small city with friendly people and is well... More
