This is a delightful Victorian guest house in a great location for seeing lovely Lunenberg. We had a choice of rooms, all of which looked very nice.. Although the room was a good size it was nice to have a comfortable sitting area on the 1st floor landing. Our only slight criticism is that the washbasin was in the room... More

This place was adorable. The food was amazing, and the room was very comfortable. My husband swears that he woke up to the noise of a ghost typing on an antique typewriter that was down in the lobby. I however, didn't hear a thing, but I sleep like the dead.

Wonderful host. Room and anemties were stunning. We were going deep sea fishing in the morning and they came in early to pack our breakfast to go so we could leave on our fishing trip. I highly recommend the wonderful B & B.

My husband and I arrived at the Bluenose Lodge exhausted and hungry from enduring the long drive from Annapolis Royal. We spent two nights at the Lodge and left rested and ready to continue our road trip. Blue Nose Lodge is a gorgeous historical building with so much character. The breakfast was delicious, so was our anniversary dinner. The fbest... More

In love with this place and the staff. We had had a negative experience the night before in DIgby at a different B&B and the Bluenose redeemed our faith in the B&B world. It was extremely clean, the staff was welcoming and personable and the food was delicious. The owner was very sweet and has clearly worked hard to keep... More

A grand old lady with lots of history and comfort. So much character and beautifully furnished in appropriate style. The bed was super comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious and not too big to make you feel bloated but more than enough to satisfy. The dinners were also excellent and if the offer chocolate mousse cake--- try it! They also gave us... More

We stayed at the Bluenose Lodge for two nights and really enjoyed it. The innkeeper is very friendly and helpful, and the place is situated very close to the historical old town with shops and the harbour, within less than five minutes walking distance. Our room had a small bathroom with separate wash place, a nice queensize bed and was... More

Stayed for two nights at the beginning of September and were not disappointed. We were a party of seven so had the rooms in the house and also in the cottage. The house was lovely and so much character I just loved it!!! Breakfast was delicious and our server was so nice - he gave us advice on the area... More

Really enjoyed the Bluenose - Andrea the proprietor, was charming and the staff so friendly. Enjoyed drinks in the parlour and on the porch, and dinner in their restaurant was delicious. So nice to have breakfast included and not have to search for a place first thing ! Liked the fact it is just a few minutes walk from the... More

Nice historic, well-situated inn with very good food. However, unruly guests above us, who stomped and shouted until 5am, meant zero sleep. (Off-site) manager - who spoke of prior issues with same guests - offered little comfort, only hollow excuses and a laughably miniscule discount! (We were reasonably leaning toward a more substantive remedy). In summary: A three-star inn with... More
