Some comments have complained about Donna, the hostess, being too officious. I did not find her so. Very helpful, efficient, ready with whatever you might need. The house is 150 years old, very cozy expecially in a Nor'easter, like today!

We were looking for a location within walking distance of the main attractions, and this fit the bill perfectly. The rooms are typical B&B, nicely furnished, comfortable and clean. The service was wonderful, with great individually made breakfasts. If you have never had the B&B experience, this would be a wonderful place to try it. Considering what a breakfast like...

We were made to feel very welcome in this beautiful old house in an excellent location of Lunenburg. The landlady is charming and very helpful - you will really like her! Nothing seems to be too much and she really makes the stay a pleasurable experience. Highly recommended. The rooms have been charmingly put together with varying color schemes.
We stayed at this bed an breakfast for a couple of days. The breakfast was sufficient but the hospitality fantastic. This guesthouse does not have a view of anything but makes up in charm from the owner and the Victorian charm of the house.
Excellent B&B. From the time you enter the door upon arrival, until you step out to depart, Donna and Deryl take care of you. You are greeted with delicious welcoming cookies and given beautiful, comfortable rooms, a balcony, history, a breakfast fit for a king/queen and service to go along with it all. You are within walking distance of the...

We stayed one night with Donna and Deryl at the Lunenburg Inn Bed and Breakfast and had an absolutely wonderful experience!!!! This place is immaculate in every way - Donna prides herself on the upkeep and the cleanliness. She was an amazing host and Deryl makes the best blueberry pancakes around!! We loved every aspect of this stay and would...

yes, the hostess was beyond friendly (to the point discomfort)... rate was expensive, considering that the room was hanging over one of the busier streets in Lunenburg (traffic noise well into night and early morning). Poor quality mattress. Some guests seem to really like gushing friendliness from their hosts. I prefer a more low key kind of hospitality..a tip for...

Donna and Daryl have that special gift of making you their freinds instantly. Their attention to detail in every way possible is in a class of its own. From the freshly baked cookies at the check in counter to the emaculately clean rooms, not to forget Daryls baked eggs for breakfast, this place is just superb. Lunenburg has many B...

Immaculately clean, a very short walk to the harbor and town center, excellent breakfasts, and a really nice hostess. Would definitely stay there again.
Donna & Darryl of the Lunenburg Inn were gracious hosts, opening their Inn for the season early for our son's curling team, his coach, our family, and the father of one of his teammates. They were so welcoming, greeting us cheerfully, despite the fact it was after 9 p.m. when we arrived. Because she knew we were traveling with our...
