I have never had a nicer experience. Donna and Deryl were fantastic. I don't have enough room here to go into all the stories that made my short stay here so good, but I can give an example. Staying here while on business, I picked up a six pack to have as I finished my computer work that evening. As... More

We spent one night at the Lunenberg inn during our family's week long tour of Nova Scotia. Donna went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Lots of tips on what to do in town with kids. And breakfast was delicious. Would highly recommend this B&B to those wanting a taste of Canadian hospitality.

This is a lovely, restored Victoria-style bed and breakfast. Donna is a good hostess greeting every guest by name, and welcoming guests with freshly-baked cookies..Her husband prepares excellent cooked breakfasts. My favourite was the strawberry-filled French toast which was absolutely delicious. My husband's favourite was blueberry pancakes. In addition to the cooked main course, breakfast also includes fresh-baked muffin, fresh... More

We stayed one night in Lunenburg, my wife, teenage son, and I. We stayed in a downstairs suite, with my son on a pull-out sofa. That pull-out was apparently not that comfortable to sleep on, but apart from that it was an excellent experience. The Inn is a little outside of Lunenburg "downtown", but it's a small enough town that... More

I stayed at the Lunenburg Inn with my husban and one other couple during one of the busiest times of the season, The Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival. We shared the suite on the third floor. It was so clean and spacious. The kitchenette came in handy, especially with the fridge. Even the hide-a-bed was comfortable according to our friends. Donna... More

This was one of our favourite stops on our 18 stay trip this year. Donna is a force of nature, it's astounding to watch her fly around the B&B getting everything done and still having time to stop and talk about how we were enjoying our travels. Her husband's breakfasts were delicious; our room was beautiful and the inn has... More

The town of Lunenburg, the Lunenburg Inn and its charming innkeeper Donna are all lovely in every way (and the breakfast prepared by Donna's husband is delicious). Donna's restaurant suggestion for dinner was great and her help with our "cooler issue" was invaluable.

Walking distance to the harbor, Bluenose II, Fisheries Museum & everything in town! Donna the innkeeper was beyond helpful on food tips & activities in town. Cozy rooms, great bathroom. Fresh breakfast, each day is a new option. Freshly home made baked items (we had a raisin bread one morning, a strawberry muffin the next!) and incredible cookies available in... More

We had the great pleasure of visiting the Lunenburg area for the first time and very lucky we were able to book the Lunenburg Inn! A very comfortable home that served the most delicious breakfasts! A first class Inn! The owners were most gracious!

I have no choice but to write an unfavorable review of this Inn based on the treatment we received by the owners. They require a prepayment, deposit, and 48 hour cancellation, which is normally not unreasonable. However. because of an impending storm and the hurricane along the US east coast, we rescheduled to leave a day earlier. The owners were... More

Donna L, Owner at Lunenburg Inn, responded to this review

We are saddened to have to respond to this review. Upon the guests arrival, they did advise us of their plans to try to change their flight to leave early. Due to our policy, we immediately re-opened the room to try to re-sell it for them. We contacted three local Visitor Information Centres as well to let them know that... More
