Donna knows your name as soon as you walk in. Makes you feel so welcome. Rooms are a good size and we had our own bathroom. Very clean. Had air conditioning and WiFi worked well. Breakfast was perfect, even helped out my picky eater. Exceptionally helpful on local attractions and restaurants. Would stay again!

This was our second time that we have stayed at the Lunenburg Inn, and we were pleased to return. The Inn was heavily booked, and we got the last room, a room with twin beds, which were very comfortable. The room was lovely with a door opening onto the deck. The ensuite bathroom was very spacious. Donna is a gracious... More

I travelled with Dan Man and Rotter Daughter on the red eye into Halifax, don't recommend this - an airborne nursery. Hit Peggy's first - loved it ( we all agreed it was strange how soft and Sleep Country Canada the rocks felt, again avoid the red eye.) Lunenburg Inn, Donna (our hostess) recommended where to pass some time in... More

Although our family of 4 only stayed one night in Lunenburg, we were fortunate to stay that one night at the Lunenburg Inn. A lovely restored Inn originally built in the late 1880s surrounded by a beautiful yard only minutes from the waterfront, what truly stands out is the warmth and hospitality of the innkeepers. Within moments of our arrival,... More

We stayed two nights in Lunenburg in the Reuben Conrad room at the Lunenburg Inn. It's a very attractive home on the edge of downtown, convenient enough to walk anywhere but yet not in the midst of downtown activity. We felt this was the ideal location as some of the other B&B's downtown appeared congested. We found The Knot Pub... More

Staying at the Lunenburg Inn is like staying at a favorite aunt's house. Donna, the innkeeper, is so friendly and helpful. She knew the names of all guests and offered friendly conversation and helpful suggestions on visiting the town. We stayed in room 2, the Reuben Conrad room - a double room with a large private bath on the second... More

A great place to stay with very friendly hosts. Loved our room with the attached deck, wish we could have stayed longer. There seemed to be a pub or some evening entertainment nearby that we could hear for the first while. Some road noise as it is located on the main road.

If you would rather not stay in the center of town (or if all of the lodgings in town are booked), The Lunenburg Inn, a historic building just three minutes by foot from town and the harbour, is a lovely place, with warm, friendly service, clean, comfortable rooms and delicious breakfasts. Highly recommended.

Our apologies, this is a long-overdue review! We first saw the Lunenburg Inn as a beacon through a blinding March blizzard a few years ago. Visiting the nearby town of Bridgewater for a medical appointment, we attempted to make our way home to Halifax but were forced to turn around and find shelter in the nearest town of Lunenburg. We... Our room and bathroom was very clean, comfortable bed, great internet access. The building itself is quiet and charming. Our breakfast, cooked by Deryl was very good. Donna was a great host who told us about the highlights of Lunenburg. Although most of the shops and restaurants were closed as this is off season, we still enjoyed out stay! We... More
