A great place to stay with very friendly hosts. Loved our room with the attached deck, wish we could have stayed longer. There seemed to be a pub or some evening entertainment nearby that we could hear for the first while. Some road noise as it is located on the main road.

If you would rather not stay in the center of town (or if all of the lodgings in town are booked), The Lunenburg Inn, a historic building just three minutes by foot from town and the harbour, is a lovely place, with warm, friendly service, clean, comfortable rooms and delicious breakfasts. Highly recommended.

Our apologies, this is a long-overdue review! We first saw the Lunenburg Inn as a beacon through a blinding March blizzard a few years ago. Visiting the nearby town of Bridgewater for a medical appointment, we attempted to make our way home to Halifax but were forced to turn around and find shelter in the nearest town of Lunenburg. We... Our room and bathroom was very clean, comfortable bed, great internet access. The building itself is quiet and charming. Our breakfast, cooked by Deryl was very good. Donna was a great host who told us about the highlights of Lunenburg. Although most of the shops and restaurants were closed as this is off season, we still enjoyed out stay! We... More

We spent a night at the Inn this past week and thoroughly enjoyed it. The small-town hospitality and genuine friendliness from Donna and Deryl was very much appreciated. Breakfast was delicious and it's conveniently located two doors away from a great little pub with tasty food. This is, by far, the cleanest place we have ever stayed in.

My wife and I enjoyed two nice nights here. Our host Donna was gracious and very helpful with our questions about Lunenburg and its many sights. The first-floor suite was very comfortable and had a private entrance to the front porch--beautiful for autumn days. Traffic was a bit of a bother as the Inn is located on a main road,... More

Central location in walking distance to Lunenburg's beautiful waterfront. This B&B has both history and charm. Friendly hosts and a lovely breakfast room with separate tables. We very much enjoyed our stay.

I stayed here for one night with two friends this weekend. The owner was absolutely beautiful to us and, being on student exchange for 6 months, she really felt like my adopted mother for the night! She made sure we were comfortable, and gave us some great advice for activities and places to visit that night and the next day... More

We booked the upstairs Thomas Curll Room with twin beds which worked very well for us as they were comfortable. Although we had an exterior patio, we did not use it. The owners are very helpful and the breakfast was very good - stuffed french toast with turkey bacon or yogurt was on the menu that morning. We recommend the... More

We recently stayed at the Lunenburg Inn and highly recommend it! First and foremost, our room was spotless! We had the first floor suite and it was perfect for the two of us. Quite comfortable. Enjoyed all of our interaction with the owners and really enjoyed our chance to sit and chat with Donna one evening. Like all other posts... More
