Easy to find and in a great location to just park and walk the historic little town. We were able to pick our room when we made a reservation so there was no surprise when we found a well appointed. The wifi was not operational in our room, but just out in the hall in the Widow's Watch it worked... More

I hesitate to write negative reviews, but have decided to post this one for the benefit of other travellers with children. I generally book B&Bs because of the more friendly/intimate experience they provide. Unfortunately our experience with this B&B started off poorly, and while it improved somewhat, it was difficult for us to get over our initial discomfort. When we... More

We had the third floor suite (The Bluenose) and loved it. Great view of the harbour and the option of our own entrance from the back parking area was a bonus. The king bed was comfortable and the space overall, roomy and cosy. David greeted everyone each morning in their beautiful dining room, introducing guests and serving as Jenny prepared... More

Great place to spend an evening and breakfast. The house itself is decorated beautifully, in traditional Victorian style but modern facilities. The hosts are very accommodating, made us a breakfast that worked for our vegetarian gluten-free diet. The house is charming. We stayed on the third floor in a room that had a great view of the town and sea,... More

We stayed 2 nights at the Kaulbach House Inn and were delighted the moment we walked in , where we were greeted by Dave our Host. We were made comfortable and welcomed from the start. The off street parking made our stay easy to come and go and the location was with in walking distance from anything our hearts desired.Shopping,cafe's,galleries,waterfront,and... More

We stayed at Kaulbach House one night only while on our road trip through NS. Upon parking, you realize you're in for a treat. Approaching from the back parking, tiered stairs spiral up to the 3rd floor, providing guests with a private entrance to the rooms. Upon entering the home, you are greeted by your elegant host & hostess, who... More

We're glad to have had the opportunity to enjoy a 2 night stay in this beautiful home. We were given a warm welcome by David and as this was our first visit to Lunenburg, he offered great information and recommendations. We stayed in the Ruby room and it was extremely clean and comfortable. I was fortunate to have had a... More

Hosts David and Jenny have created an incredible place to stay while visiting Lunenburg. The room was spectacular, the view from my morning coffee was arguably the best I've ever seen. Breakfast was incredible. I was travelling alone, and David went out of his way to introduce me to the other visitors. It was warm and friendly at every step.... More

We felt right at home from the very beginning. David and Jenny are the perfect hosts - friendly, helpful, and Jenny is a fantastic cook. David even sat down with maps and showed us the best way to continue our journey when we left. I would highly recommend this to anyone and would love to go back!
