This was our first time staying at a Bed & Breakfast ever. It was superb!! The owners and staff made us feel welcome. Beautiful house, loved our room with all of the unique touches to it and the food was excellent. It was a short walk down to the harbour which was just beautiful. At breakfast in the morning we... My sister recently got married at the Boscawen Inn and it exceeded all expectations. The staff were lovely, incredibly helpful and very accommodating. The inn itself was beautiful and it was a perfect wedding venue. The breakfast was a delicious bonus too. Jon and Judy are doing an excellent job and our whole family was blown away by our experience.

We booked the Boscawen Inn for the Lunenburg Folk Festival in 2013 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This charming inn is centrally located on a hill overlooking the LaHavre River, with a spectacular view of sail boats and a golf course on the opposite side of the river. The inn is beautifully decorated with period furniture and many interesting works of art.... My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and were beyond pleased. The Inn is over 120 years old and has been redone and decorated beautifully. Judy and her husband Johnathan were unbelievably kind and welcoming. We were showed to our room and soon surprised with a bottle of wine and balloon to celebrate our day! We stayed in... More

We stayed 2 nights here on an 11 day visit to N.S. It was very nice in most respects, except for the room itself. Since we really didn't spend much time there, it was not a deal breaker necessarily. The location is fab, the common areas are wonderful, the hosts are congenial and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious! That... More

For our first visit to Lunenburg, we booked a room at the Boscawen based only on positive TripAdvisor reviews and the promising photos on third party booking sites. After having stayed for two nights, we'll have to add our experience to the very pile of glowing reviews that we trusted to bring us there in the first place. We thoroughly... More

This was a great place to stay. we were only there one night but loved it. Ginny helped us find a place to park my motorcycle. (the parking area is slanted but works fine for cars). Rachel was a great host and took great care of us. after walking the city and having dinner, we came back and sat on... More

Boscawen Inn was indeed the icing on the cake for our first visit to Nova Scotia! Judy, John, and Rachel made us immediately feel at home in this lovely historic inn. Our needs were anticipated and met; great suggestions for daily adventure, yummy coffee, tasty breakfast meals, quiet spacious well appointed rooms with calming bay views, fragrant soaps, wi-fi, and... We just returned from a 3 night stay at this inn. I cannot say enough nice things about the owners and the staff. They are charming, hard-working owners who take a delight in their inn and treat their guests as friends. The location is hard to beat with a lovely view of the waterfront in this very beautiful town. They... More

This was our perfect 1st experience of Lunenburg, made so by the wonderful people and place at Boscawen Inn. They made us feel like family. The views were spectacular, the conversations fun, the food fine (though same every morning), the activity and restaurant recommendations on the money. We are already talking about the return trip.
