This auberge is perfectly situated on the rail trail and beside the lake but does not have much charm. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was a mediocre motel room and breakfast was also mediocre. I wouldn't stay there again just because there are better options.

My daughter and I spent 3 days at the auberge (2 nights). It was most pleasant, with a direct beautiful view of Mercier Lake. The Train du Nord bicycle path is also just in front. We thoroughly enjoyed the access to a private heated pool, a few feet from the lake. Breakfast is continental with croissants, toasts, cereals and boiled... More

Last weekend, my wife and I spent 4 days at the Auberge La Porte Rouge in Mont Tremblant QC. Our room overlooked a beautiful lake with the rolling Laurentian mountains positioned all the way around and the sun setting nightly directly across the lake. A SPECTACULAR view with fish jumping, loons and other birds present and deer everywhere. Walking and... More

My wife and I were not happy staying here.. Room 10 stuck every time we went back to room it would be nauseous ,carpet was probably 20 years old and bathroom was in poor condition.. My wife found a bunch of hair in the shower drain after that we only took showers at Scandinavian spa and water in sink went... More

At 179$ a night for 2 adults and one child,we thought the ''included''breakfast would be excellent, the Auberge IS conected to the Restaurant that makes these so called breakfasts. It was 2 bowls of warm yogurt old fruit salad and some dry bread ,to be toasted in an old toaster that had to be ''coacsed''into working!!!The Deluxe room was kinda old and... Time to update my review since I want 2 years ago. The Inn is still same quality: simplicity, quietness and excellent location by the lake and cycle path (both next door). The owners upgraded the rooms by a splash of bright colours, new modern furniture in the room and flat screen tv. Large balcony for each room overlooking lake. Note... More

Superior room was huge - very comfortable and with lovely lake view from balcony. Nice pool out front. Bike trail right beside property. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Excellent meal at on-site restaurant and another at partner restaurant down the street. Only 4 km from the "busy/touristy" part, but staying here in the "village" is recommended. Golf a couple of... Stayed in this hotel for two nights in June 2014. The view from room 7 was amazing as it overlooked Lac Mercier! The room had two comfortable beds and an en suite with a bathtub and shower. The shower head was not working properly though. The room could do with the addition of a mini fridge. The area around the... More

We recently stayed for 2 nights in an 'executive room' number 103. The room had beautiful views over Lake Mercier and the garden. One or two problems with our room. A pillowcase on the bed was stained and had a hair on. Also there was beer spilled on the coffee tray on which clean cups had been placed. The TV... More

Stayed here in 2011 when cycling the P’tit Train du Nord the first time. This time we upgraded to the rooms in the separate building and were able to put our bikes in our room, although they do have a separate storage area for them in the main building. Room was spacious, clean with mini-fridge. Ground level had patio doors... More
