My husband and I did a quick overnight get away...our first visit with many more to come! We were pleasantly greeted by the owner and her husband (chef extraordinaire!). Our room was clean, charming , quiet and comfortable. Dinner that evening was absolutely amazing. We had an appetizer followed by 4 courses--all were perfectly and deliciously prepared and served. Breakfast... More

My partner and I were scrambling to find a last minute booking, as our original cottage rental fell through just the evening before departure. We were very grateful to stumble on Le Coeur d'Or who happened to have a room available for the next day. The b&b is a charming restored house surrounded by trees and a beautiful garden. Its... We spent 7 nights here while attending the Canada Summer Games in summer 2013. We found our hosts to be incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. Our room was very comfortable though for someone very tall, the bathroom may be a bit tight. We spent a few nights in cottage no.1 which was also very comfortable with plenty of space and... More

We stayed at" Le coeur d'or" in North Hatley on our way from Ottawa to Bar Harbour for one night. The owners were cold and almost unpleasant. It was for one night only and as they have a restaurant, we booked the dinner that evening. For the room we got, we had to cross an long bathroom first to get... More

We didn't stay here, but we ate dinner here in late Sept. or 2012. The food was not spectacular, but the prices were quite steep. We found better value at the pub in town and better food and pricing at the Auberge Ayers Cliffs, which was worth the short drive from our North Hatley B&B.

A little dilapidated from the outside, but still charming. We stayed two nights in late June, and with no air conditioning our room (the Sunflower room) was a little hot. The room was furnished plainly but with taste and was clean and comfortable. However, the configuration was a bit odd: on unlocking the front door to our suite, we had... More

We enjoyed our two night stay at the Auberge le Coeur d'Or. Our room was clean, and as we had paid for a larger room (number six), quite spacious. The mattress was comfortable. The main street of the village with its shops was only a few steps away. It was a treat to sit and read outside on the covered... More

Just back from a lovely stay at Coeur D'Or-only a hop and skip from the Vermont border. The rooms are not large but they are cozy, comfortable, and well appointed. Great windows, nice linens, and welcoming hosts. I can’t say enough about the food-fine cuisine-all four courses at dinner were beyond excellent and waking up to the delightful two-course breakfast... More

We have been staying in this lovely inn at North Hatley regularly for the past 4 years while visiting our son at Bishop's University in nearby Lennoxville. That means we have enjoyed it in fall, winter and spring and it never disappoints. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms clean and bright and if we are staying for a few... More

I went for the second time with my spouse at Auberge Le Coeur d'Or since we remembered it being a stunning experience when we went there 4 years ago. It was still worth it. The room and dinner combo is a very great value package. The room we picked was clean and spacious and the place itself is very calm... More
