We had a wonderful experience at Manoir Hovey! Immediately on arrival, we knew we had made a great decision. The grounds were groomed; the front desk staff was courteous, efficient and helpful, the room was charming and perfectly appointed. The views of the lake below and the sweet village of North Hatley are magical! Dining was where the true “heaven”... More

After doing alot of research we decided on Le Manoir Hovey for a well deserved get away during our Quebec holiday. It is tucked away almost "chalet" style in a wooded area on the lake. It was beautiful in the fall and the smell of the fireplace upon our arrival was very inviting. The staff was more than accommodating -... More

We stumble upon Manoir Hovey by word of mouth, been back three time since in the past year. Which for me is something special in it self. I'm an island boy living over half my life on Maui. But visiting Hovey was incredible. As much as I love going back to the islands, Manoir Hovey has captured a piece of... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights at Manoir Hovey as a birthday treat. The entire experience was wonderful. The location, even in the rain, after a big storm was inviting, relaxing, with all necessary amenities and so elegant, without feeling stuffy! The room was sparkling clean, and the view from the deck was amazing. The restaurant meal was delicious,... More

Our stay culminated our trip to Quebec. We decided to stay here because of an older friend's recommendation. We booked a water front cabin that was superb. Whirlpool bath, fireplace (wish it had been wood burning,) deck, and dock, made the room seem gigantic. Decorations were beautiful and the room was spotless. The property is also amazing, classic 19th century... More

I am a 40 something yearold french canadian doctor . I was totally disappointed by the hotel itself . It is old , not renovated and did not meet my expectations for the price i paid .The bathroom was tiny (no counter ) ,the furniture in the room was old and scratched and did not match . You also could... More

The property is in a stunning location and extremely relaxing. The landscaping is diverse and beautiful set on a somewhat undeveloped lake. Great rustic bar and dining room was attractive, serving thoughtful cuisine. Our one complaint would be that the luxury rooms are in some need of updating (not the antiques or replicas, of course--rather the fixtures) and tiny for... More

This was the most expensive hotel on our Quebec trip, but it was absolutely worth it. The manor house is a beautiful building with lovely grounds and gardens, overlooking the lake. The hotel excels in practically every category, but the most impressive feature was the hospitable staff. They went out of their way to take care of us, show us... More

I took my parents to Manoir Hovey for their 32nd anniversary and we had the time of our lives. The level of service we received from the staff was world class. The food in the dining room is exquisite. The setting -- the gardens, the lake, the natural lushness of the surrounding region -- is stunning beautiful. We traveled all... More
