I do stay in hotels from time to time for work or personal trips and I have to say the Best Western in Renfrew was the best stay I have had in a long time. After many places nearby had no vacancy, I checked here last thinking it was probably over priced. We got a spacious suite with a jacuzzi... More

Had a one night stop over for an event nearby - so booked this since it allows pets. Overall it was fine - reasonably clean, a good restaurant/bar and quiet. (Since it's not really near anything except a Walmart 1km away). The price seemed reasonable, the was perfect for a one night stop over - really can't complain about anything... More

Stayed here while visiting some old friends. I didn't look too forward to spending a weekend here, but the quaint hotel atmosphere soon changed my mind. The staff were very receptive, the rooms were clean and the renovated interior really brightened up the place. Would've like the gym to be better equipped, but since I wasn't staying for long it... This hotel is so overpriced for what you get. The rooms are what can be expected by the class of hotel but the prices are the same or more than four star hotels in Ottawa, about an hour away. Also the hotel is on the edge of and kind of off on a side road so you can't walk to... More

I was hesitant to stay here but it seemed the best option available to be close to white water rafting. The hallways are being updated but are rough. The room itself was very clean and the beds were new. decor is outdated but the beds and cleanliness were more important to me. Great CAA rate and breakfast included for all... More

I drove up to Renfrew on a Friday evening to get a good night's sleep before a day of whitewater rafting on the Saturday. The Best Western is less than a half hour from the rafting camps, so I opted to stay there. The hotel itself is a little older, but the pool is great and the location is ideal... More

While visiting a few friends in Renfrew, I decided to stay here for a couple of nights. It was conveniently placed and reasonably priced, and the front desk staff was not only quick, but very friendly as well. The rooms were well-kept but a bit old-fashioned for my taste (although I've learned that a renovation is in the works). Every... More

A good find with good walk-in rate Hotel being improved , room fine clean &tidy, staff very helpful. Staff was very pleasant. Facilities undergoing renovations. Room was clean. across . The rooms had recently been refurbished, and were excellent. But what really made our stay was the staff, in particular the front desk staff who accommodated each of our requests, from... More

We have stayed here with our family of 5 (3 kids between 12 and 14) for 1 night. "What brings you to Renfrew" the lady at the reception asked at check-in. Excellent question; the town looks like a deserted gold digger village. The truth is that we had booked a rafting at Beachburg, 40kilometers further north and that I had... More

This hotel would be fine if the price was cut in half, for the price we paid you would expect a higher level of.....well just about everything. The room we had was small and dark. The elevator was slow, the decor is dated, bathroom was clean but showing its age (dirty tile grout, bits of trim missing of sink.) A... More
