Absolutely AMAZING food. Room small but very nice. Enjoyed outdoor hot tub and in-room jacuzzi tub. Close to downtown, bike trails, and great and reasonable golf course. Provided bike storage. Mario makes everybody feel special

My husband and I visited the Auberge La tour du Lac in May/2013. Our stay was very pleasant, Quite, peaceful, rustic decor, and the food was amazing. We also went for a massage which was very nice and relaxing. We would surely go back. Thank you Mario(owner) for this beautiful experience. Gayle and Rudy

We went to Auberge La tour du lac for a mid-week getaway. Overall we were very satisfied with our experience and will definitely go back. Going during mid-week is a good deal, going a friday night is slightly overpriced and the saturday night price is simply too high. Pros : - nice land, very quiet. - Outdoors jaccuzzis and sauna... It's Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts in the upper Laurentians. By some reviews you get the feeling that some want a fancy trendy party auberge. Go elsewhere. Been there twice to date and here is our opinion and we have travelled around quite a bit. You want a rustic decor, a fireplace at the foot of your bed, a wirlpool bath in your room,... More

Spent 2 nights at the Auberge earlier in December. Relaxing, quiet, romantic getaway. The room was very nice, with a whirlpool bath and fireplace. There are 3 outdoor hot tubs, one of which is on the roof with a magnificent view of the lake. The restaurant was amazing. We had the 6 course dinner included with our room price. The... More

We stayed two nights here as part of our cycling trip in the Laurentians. It's a bit off the cycling path but not a big problem. Rooms are uniquely finished, and very clean. It's a do it yourself breakfast which is left fresh each day in your room--a nice change not to have to get up at a specific hour... More

Raised on the top of an hill, as to admire with ease the Lac des Sables lying at its feet, the Auberge de la Tour du Lac still carries the venerable and authentic style it had when it was erected a century ago. It keeps from its beautiful history many precious objects, woodwork, balconies and all sorts of extravagances that witness a simple and, at the same time, opulent comfort. ... more   less
