At beginning of the journey everything was fine in terms of cleanliness, rooms, location - but ended up leaving there with a horrendous food poisoning - threw up, nausea, diarrhea (symptoms came within 48 hours) still under investigation i believe - apparently fridge system was not working properly and was at "dangerous level" - so if you go there avoid... more

We went there for after-Christmas long weekend. In the nut shell: very nice and clean property, helpful staff, nice rooms. We've rented suite in new pavilion. Nice two floor room with fireplace, two flat screen TVs, two bathrooms and Jacuzzi. The only drawback was the fact that we needed our car to use facilities in main pavilion. Although they are... more

I stayed at this hotel for a one week conference. My room was booked in a separate building which they share with a condominium corporation. The bathtub would not drain properly so I requested that they clean the tub. It took them three days to finally send someone and four days for them to find a plunger to unclog the... more

I ran a small conference at the hotel. The soundproofing of the conference rooms was poor. The overall service and responsiveness were good. Breakfasts and lunches were OK. The hotel rooms tended to have small windown and tended to be dark. I was surprised they padlocked the outdoor pool on a warm weekend. The indoor pool reeked of chlorine. more

When we arrived for our 3 night stay, we were told they only booked us for 1 night. We then found another room in another hotel for cheaper. They then somehow managed to 'find' our original reservation. When we told them we no longer needed the room, they said they'd need to charge us for the 1st night since they... more

Don't stay here! Select a place closer to the quaint, wonderful village of Saint Saveur. Terrible service, indifferent staff, no one answers incoming call line so family can't reach you for 3 days, fire alarms going off all night, dark, dank rooms, mold in the shower, drunks banging on doors and yelling up and down the halls at 4:00 am.... more

I stayed at Manoir Saint-Sauvuer on February 28-29, 2008, while accompanying a friend on a business trip. Overall, the hotel is clean, neat and tastefully decorated. We stayed in room 6265, which is tucked away in a corner on the 2nd floor of the main building. It featured a comfortable queen-sized bed, two chairs and a table in the sitting... more

I booked for a 3 night stay with my family...it was the first time going to the Laurentians,...when I called to book, they had gave me a few prices over the phone for packages and I had booked for 950 PLUS taxes for a small room...OUTSIDE the hotel and with no microwave to cook with. I asked if they would... more
