This hotel (formerly the Hotel Republique) has been sold from chain-to-chain over the years. It's latest incarnation features a major cosmetic upgrade to the exterior of the facility. This property is showing its age, inside and out. Check-in was speedy and the manager friendly and easy to talk to. As they say in that area: "amicable". I stop here when traveling home for every Christmas vacation. They have a pet friendly policy, comfortable beds, a great restaurant, and free WiFi in the rooms.

This was the first place we found off the high way. It was dated, but the beds were comfy and it was clean. The pub had good food. The rate was reasonable and the staff were very friendly! I would stay again.
