It was Sept 2010. A bilboard size add anounced the motel with internet (with the word internet taking half the board). Exactly what I needed. I got there, and pointed out that I needed internet. They changed my room. Yet, no internet. Then I saw people sitting onto the parking lot outside, trying to get the signal, which came from... More

I would first like to congratulate you on having such a great memory that you are able to remember such details dating back almost 5 years. We only purchased the property in 2009 and WiFi was non existent on the property. We had to contact different companies in order to get it right so maybe we were still in the... More

We have stayed several times at La Roma, en route from Nova Scotia to Montreal. It has changed owners since the last time we visited, and we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with microwave, fridge, a comfortable table for two, and reasonably good lighting. The motel is quietly situated outside of town, yet close... After watching a show on CBC about fake reviews, I felt that it was necessary to write this one. We were travelling through the Edmunston area in August. The weekend of our return trip, almost all of the motels were booked due to a big event. We found La Roma on line and decided to give it a try. All... More

I would first like to state that we do not pay anyone to leave good comments on Trip Advisor. The comments posted are the guests own personal opinions. Secondly, just because a property is listed as pet friendly does not mean that all rooms are pet friendly. This is like smoking or non smoking rooms. We have as certain number... More

Clean, quiet and right off the highway. The rooms are a bit dated and smelled a bit musty. Pool was cold so didn't go in. No real complaints except poor value. It is one of the more expensive motels we stayed in. It cost more than the holiday inn or super 8 we stayed in along the way to PEI.

tasty, quick, and inexpensive breakfast. A variety of choices. Location is great. Beds a bit hard but over all clean and nice rooms. Price is definitely reasonable. Our family comes here every time we summer at least twice. Friendly staff, very helpful.

We spent one night at La Roma on our way home from PEI. The location is very convenient, just off the highway but we couldn't hear any traffic noise. The surrounding is peaceful. The room was clean, bed comfortable, and bathroom was adequate, water pressure in shower good; added bonus - the sink was outside the bathroom so both of... More

Spent one night at this motel. Close to the highway. Clean room although our room had a musty smell. You can see that they did some updates in the room but could use more updating... the carpet could be replaced, bathroom door was damaged.... But for the price we had a good night sleep and it was very quiet. We had... More

Off the beaten track ,lies this nice hotel with a quiet stream nearby. This is a no frills motel (a little too expensive for the class ). It is very clean, the rooms are fresh. The service is friendly and the food is quite nice in the adjoining resto . Only a nitpick are the bathrooms. With the sink outside... More

I stayed here for 2 nights in late June and having driven many hours was in need of respite. Unfortunately it didn't happen here. They put me in room16. Do not take the rooms at this end of building. Thank God I travel with ear plugs b/c the water pump/system was directly next or below me. The pump cycles on... More

This low-priced motel is located in a delightful setting just a couple of minutes off the TransCanada Highway. The rooms and swimming pool are clean and the food is excellent. The owners go the extra mile to ensure your needs are accommodated. Highly recommended as a comfortable place to stay. Very much look forward to my next visit. Barry K
