We only stayed for one night, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stopover here. The Fernie Stanford Inn is comfortable, clean and has just about everything you could need. We found this hotel to be in need of renovations and not very accommodating. We arrived 20 minutes before check-in and where turned away - told to leave and come back in 20 minutes then we could have a room. I confirmed our room via internet and over the phone but was told there was a problem so they "upgraded"... more

Didn't have much interaction with the hotel staff, but the restaurant was excellent with their extensive Indian food menu, and nice western menu. The food was delicious.
