We took the half hour drive up to the lodge not knowing what to expect. The drive up is beautiful with old trees and creeks to entertain the passengers as the driver goes through twists and turns. We got to the lodge and immediately the view was breathtaking. We ate outside at the Bear Lodge and the food was delicious... More

Everything about this experience was spectacular...from the Spa, dining, views, hiking, service, cleanliness to the well-appointed, comfortable room. We enjoyed a delicious, gourmet lunch on the patio/deck in the proximity of breath taking mountain views. The "Date Night" dinner experience in the dining room was wonderful. The included breakfast the next morning was equally special. We will most certainly return.

Besides one of the most beautifull drivers though old growth (800 yo) Cedars, this restaurant and bar at the top is the most stunning dining experience for miles. The staff and food surpass lake Louise in service and innovation, and the views are absolutely stunning! For Mountain bikers, this will become a serious destination as they are making a real... More

You don't need to Cat-Ski to enjoy this place. It's a great place to visit in the summer! And it's pet-friendly. Previous reviewer said that he didn't know why it isn't full of tourists in the summer ---- It sure WAS when we were here. Lots of families, and couples. Stayed 2 nights in the Cedar Lodge building. Room was... More

Fantastic location, and food brilliant ! Issue with front reception re dogs in lodge and smell of urine- they stated it was due to bats, no dogs allowed. Ok fine - while 3 dogs came out side in my lodge - urine smell and lies are difficult to handle on a vaca. I have pets to so i get it... More

I have no idea why this lodge isn't full of tourists like the lodges in Banff and Lake Louise are at this time of the year, but I am grateful for it and the authentic, Canadian, luxury lodge experience provided by this resort. The setting is spectacular - on par or better than Lake Louise. The service is wonderful. The... More

This is the second time we have been to ILL. The first was during summer and the second was this April. Got two wonderfull days of cat skiing. Fresh winter pow on Saturday and more springlike powder on Sunday. The staff and crew were all top notch! Corey and Brenda knew exactly where to take us to maximise our powder... More

I didn't stay here but did come up for a day to snow shoe around the lake, have a great lunch and visit the spa. We were brought up to the lodge by a cat, first time I had ever travelled on one of these babies. The access road was pretty lumpy due to it going through some freezing and... More

From start to finish the entire experience is all class in mountain fashion. The staff are well trained and safety is clearly a priority. I have been twice and will be there again. I also used the spa and followed a day of powder boarding on fresh tracks with a great massage. Perfect before a delicious meal with new and... More
