We stayed here recently. Fernie was experiencing hot summer days. Was the 1 bedroom condo air conditioned. NO. Was there at least 1 fan to cool off a room. NO. Fold out sofa when open is a hazard - very little space to walk by. Unit is standard/basic for a rental unit. Table/chairs - sofa - bed - bathroom etc.... More

Stayed here in the Summer. Check-in is done through the King Fir hotel, so the Snow Creek building can feel very quiet, with its empty reception area.... But we quite liked that. Even with a non slopeside room, the view was great. The one-bedroom condo was ideal for a couple with a small baby. Access to the base area is... More

Our first time to Fernie and first time slope side. All I can say is "FANTASTIC". I booked the hotel not sure what to expect. We were booked from Jan.31 to Feb. 3rd. Arrived to be greeted by super friendly staff. They assigned us a ground floor room which we were initially concerned with, but the girls at the desk... More

Stayed here room 217 on 12/12/2013- 12/13/2014 to ski with friends. Quiet slopeside location. Close to Elk quad. Parking garage and ski locker a plus. One hot tub operational. Room was warm as noted by others. Kept windows open. Clean room with comfy beds. Minimal but friendly staff. 15 minute late checkout only (10:15 a.m.). The slopeside rooms must be... More

The cabins were beautiful, well equiped and the location great. The skiing was freakin' awesome. The front-desk attendant was sullen, unfriendly and had obviously been trained at Fawlty Towers. Note to British skiers coming to work at North America resorts - Canadians don't find condescension and indifference to be parts of acceptable service. Leave your poor attitudes in England. Note... Stayed in a 1 bedroom, 1st floor unit. Place was decent, nothing fancy. The enire unit was small but served our purpose. The lodge had a swimming pool and 2 hot tubs. Everything was clean and taken care of in the pool/hot tub area. The hot tubs over look the beginner slope and village area. The lodge had a ski... More

This was our first time at Fernie and we really enjoyed it. Snow Creek Lodge has the best location of all the on mountain accommodation with true ski-in ski-out access. The rooms were clean and relatively well equipped with everything we needed. We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo with 2 bathrooms. Our room was on the side away from... More

First time at Snow Creek Lodge and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. After reading some negative comments, I was slightly worried. I think the accommodations were above GREAT!! The rooms were clean, equipped, spacious and best of all, right on the hill. The kitchen had everything we needed - including some extras (cheese grater, shot glass, more than 2 wine glasses)... We paid 300 plus tax for two weekend nights on the 3rd floor. We got one of the slightly larger King sized beds. The location is great. My kids loved watching the people on the chairlifts right outside our window. The hot tub was nice. Underground heated parking and ski lockers were very convenient. I have to second the reviewer... Condo building is perfectly located on the hill. We're in Suite 401 which is the top floor and end unit. It's very nice, well equiped, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a pull out couch. Very quiet. Parking is under the building, and ski lockers are extremely convenient. Not sure what others are complaining about. I have high standards and have... More
