We really enjoyed our stay in Fernie, it is a lovely town with beautiful scenery and views. The hiking, biking, and nature walks are second to none. The Timberline lodges are not run as a hotel. That I am definitely clear of. When I questioned the late check in time and the early check-out time (very unaccomodating), when I asked... More

We had recently booked a two bedroom + Loft at the Timberline Lodges; we had gone with their platinum suits, which are supposed to be there best, paying over $300/night. The check-in was quick but when we went to our suite, there was a small air conditioner, installed in only one of the bedrooms for the whole suite. When I... More

Lovely accommodations for a ski stay at Fernie. Get a room on the 4th floor as you'll have high ceilings and better views. Units are large and well-equipped. A short walk to the hill but there is a shuttle, and you can ski back. I would definitely stay here again! !

We had bugs in our room the only thing they did about it was set a trap later that evening. Elevators were broken and told us it was another companies responsibility. Check in went quickly, but the staff were not amicable to resolve any of our issues. Shuttle service to the hill was good though, and on time.

Dear Ambergaddy, Thank you for staying with us here in Fernie. We appreciate your taking the time to leave a review on your experience. We are sorry to hear that you found our response to the fruit flies in your suite on your final night unsatisfactory. At your request, we did NOT enter the unit to deal with this during... More

I liked it 5 min walk to ski hill. Nice rooms enough utensils to cook with. Great ski hill they have a lot of great runs all from beginner to advanced I would rather go here than sunshine. They could use nicer hot tubs but they did the trick. And the heated pool wasn't very warm it was heated but... More

Really enjoyed our Vacation at Timberlne lodges. Really nice rooms with adequate space and nice furnishings. A bit of a walk up the hill or grab the shuttle... We did both and either one suited us fine. Pool and Hot Tubs were nice and fairly easy to access. Really shorted us on towels.... Bring a beach towel for yourself! They... More

Not a ski in/ ski out lodge but we knew that going in. We either did the 10 min walk or drove to the ski lifts. The lodge itself was clean and comfortable and the hot tub was a great place to have a couple drinks and mingle with fellow skiers. We had 6 people staying in the lodge and... More

As in other reviews, not a ski in ski out resort. My family stayed early April so the snow had receded, ski in perhaps if there is snow but never ski out. However a shuttle was provided. We had a car so was easy - a 2 minute drive to the resort for free parking. The hot tub (s) should... More

I stayed at a platinum 2 bedroom condo unit in the Juniper lodge. It was a very clean and well appointed unit. The layout is good: a living space divides the two bedrooms. Each bedroom had an ensuite bathroom. The staff were very informative. The hot tubs seemed well maintained. The BBQs are functional and communal and do the trick.... More

We stayed at this hotel a couple of weeks ago for a family ski trip. We had a two bedroom condo which we liked very much. It was very clean and all the furniture was in good condition. Appliances worked well for the most part, the dishwasher is extremely loud and the oven takes a lot longer than the one... More
