When this vacation was booked (a few months in advance of our arrival) we were advised it was a "short" walk to the ski hill, but ski in at the end of the day. The only way this is a short walk is if you're 20 years old and an olympic athlete. Our reservation was for 5 days and during... More

Dear Liz B, Thank you for taking the time to post a review regarding your recent stay in Fernie. We are disheartened to hear that despite our staff's best efforts, you failed to enjoy your accommodations. Feedback is vitally important to any business in the service industry, and as such we value your comments. Unfortunately there are a few limitations... More

Plus side: Very nice accommodations, enjoyed the hot tub, very clean, close to downtown. Minus side: Booking agent extremely rude when presented with an issue. Front desk not able to deal with booking issue, when we upgraded to a room with loft, they sent us to wrong room and then we had to wait with all our stuff till they... More

Hi Erin, Thank you for taking the time to post a review. I would like to apologise on behalf of Fernie Lodging Company, for the unfortunate circumstances surrounding your stay. To say we were unaware of the power outage is not an acceptable response in a guest's eyes, and I fully understand this. Unfortunately the lines of communication in this... More

We stayed at the Timberline lodge during a family vacation to Fernie. It is at the Fernie Alpine Resort and minutes from the Fernie city center. It was peaceful and scenic. The kitchenette in the condo allowed us to cook all our meals and save lots of $$$ as opposed to eating at a restaurant every evening. Recommended for travelers... More

When I called to reserve a 2 bedroom room I specifically asked for a ski in/ski out location and was assured Timberline Lodges fit the bill. This was not the case as you had to walk quite a distance up hill to get to the actually ski hill. More

We just got back from spending 2 nights at the Juniper Lodge in Fernie. It was a great stay! And, we even brought our cat! They offer pet friendly rooms, too... We were given a room on the bottom floor...I was apprehensive about this at first, but as it turned out, the weather was lovely, and we enjoyed placing our... More

Our stay at Juniper Lodge in Fernie was amazing. Nice amenities......5 hot tubs to use, shuttle bus to the ski hill and a full kitchen with granite and stainless. The hot tub was a great end to a superb day on the hill. We went with some friends and they stayed in a bronze room which was definitely not as... More

Each building houses a different standard of accommodation depending on your choice of room standard e.g. gold, silver, platinum. We (group of 6 lads from UK) opted for a silver room which put us in the Aspen Lodge. I can only comment on the general areas of the hotel and the quality of the silver accommodation in the Aspen Lodge.... More

Juniper Lodge exceeded all our expectations! We had a skiing vacation of 2weeks at the Fernie Alpine Resort and stayed on the fourth floor( platinum) in a 2 bedroom suite which had a stylish open-plan livingroom/kitchen and stunning views of the ski runs. The suite has 2 en-suite bathrooms and also its own washer&drier, phone+internet connection. It also provided your own... More

We rented a Platinum room in building 5. We expected something special, to warrant the Platinum price. What we got was an ok room for top price. The kitchen lacked in pots and pans etc. The hot tub and barbaque was locked due to the cold? After skiiing this would have been nice. Do not rent this place, it is... More

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of days in Feb. We had a one bedroom suite. Its OK, but compared to Whistler, and other resorts this place is way over priced for the quality of the accommodation you get!! Its nothing luxurious at all!! The construction is very cheap, curtains and linen looked home made, the housekeeping... More
