I like only one thing from a motel when I go fishing and that is a good mattress. It was not a good mattress, noisy. Cable TV had very few channels none of the major news or sports channels, no breakfast, very small hot tub, poor parking. It was not the best, however it was close to downtown an less... More

We stayed 2 nights, got room on the upper floor. Cheap, clean, quiet and just ok! Fernie is beautiful small city and this is a good choice of accommodation. Free wifi and hot tub. Only few steps and you are in Downtown!

Hello Judith, We appreciate you taking the time to review our motel, thank you. We are happy that you found everything to your liking. Affordable doesn't mean we give up anything! We're family owned, passionate about giving value for money and work very hard at it, so thank you again for highlighting that. Kind Regards Jason Burt More

Very Noisy hotel... Carpet are filthy and there is mold in the washroom. I would rather pay a little bit more and stay in another hotel. The only positive thing is the staff. They were very helpful. We could have stayed on the hill for a lit bit more. Stay away from this hotel.

Quaint, fresh, and clean. I expected a sketchy place for this price, but it has been updated well and functions great as an affordable base for adventure and tourism. Super clean! The room was actually better than the website's slideshow pictured. It seems like these people really care about their place and about you having a good time. It's not... More

Hello tjhabel, Thank you for your review. We do care about our place very much. Although we don't hit the mark with every guest that visits, we continue to try and evolve. We are definitely affordable, definitely not sketchy and almost always Super Clean! Thank you again. Jason Burt More

My partner and I stayed here in February last year to conquer Fernie's powder. We were on a shoestring budget and this place was the best bet for our dollar. The owners were very helpful while checking in/ checking out, offering great places to eat etc. The rooms were tidy and the beds comfy after a full day of shredding.... More

Stopped in for one night. Very affordable (summer was over) and room clean and quaint. Owner very accommodating I.e. Letting us change rooms only because we wanted the top floor and knew the best places to eat and go for coffee. In fact we think she was rather wonderful! You kinda feel like you aren't saying in a motel but... More

We were only stopping for the night and had a late check in. The lady met us at the door and greeted us by name! How often do you get that? She was super friendly and helpful. The other reviews say the hotel is run down. It is an older place, but our rooms were perfectly clean. The value was... More

We chose this place on reviews we read. Although our room didn't match the photos it was clean and tidy and value for money. We ordered in pizza which was also good value. The room was comfortable and the lady was very informative and helpful

This was a charming hotel in a small Canadian city. The desk clerk was very friendly and offered suggestions as to local attractions and restaurants. The room was large and a microwave and refrigerator. There is free wifi and a flat screen tv. It is set up for winter guests as there are pegs on the wall to keep skis... More

Having travelled to many a town, staying in motels for overnight or a week of skiing, you will be hard pressed to find a cleaner and more comfortable room. Owners are incredibly friendly, as is their Manageress. The rooms are fairly spacious, fresh, clean and upgraded nicely. A bonus is a mini fridge, and microwave, plus a coffee maker and... More
