We stated at the red tree lodge for 3 nights to do some sightseeing and mountain biking around the town. The room was very clean and the staff were very helpful. I also had my dog with me and upon entering the room was a welcome package for him. The amenities that the red tree lodge provided were also a... More

We were in Fernie for 2 nights and the room was huge for starters. It had a large bedroom and a nice sitting room. They also had a pool and hot tub as well as a recreational area for down time and play some pool. It was quite most of the time and easily accessible to the main road for... More

Having stayed in Fernie on a number of occasions in summer and winter, we were pleasantly surprised to have the pleasure of staying in a newly renovated room that didn't have that musty, stale tobacco Fernie smell. The staff was very friendly and helpful (also not very Fernie-like). We didn't have a chance to use the kitchen, hot tub, or... More

This was a great place to stay with the family as we explored Fernie. The facility is an older building, but many areas have been renovated and updated. it was clean and comfortable with great amenities. Our kids loved the pool and movie room, and we appreciated the guest kitchen for cooking meals (although, BEFORE we started cooking we often... More

The first impression when stepping into the room is slightly disappointing. There is a kind of musty smell in the room and from the window we look at a dumpster. But after five minutes you don’t notice the smell any longer and the whole town of Fernie makes a messy impression, so all things considered it is a good, somewhat... More

We spent a week at Red Tree Lodge in Fernie, BC and were very happy with everything about our stay. The staff were helpful, courteous and so pleasant... and the rooms were clean, quiet and in good shape. It was a bonus to have a huge kitchen at our disposal and laundry facilities that were free of charge. The manager,... More

We travelled with our three children. What a great place for a family! We had a deluxe family room that had a separate bedroom with a queen bed as well as 2 queens in the main room. We got pizza and took it down to the movie room with a movie from the front desks selection. Then we went to... More

Great staff in this hotel. Arrived with a dog and although my reservation didn't have that, they accommodated me no problem at all. Great place in Fernie, nice neighbourhood. The hotel is very quiet with no night time problem.

My daughter age 12 enjoyed the swimming pool, while my other daughter and I played pool in the cosy games/lounge room which overlooks the swimming pool. We also enjoyed watching a movie in the theatre room after a day of white water rafting. They had a large selection of movies to choose from. The staff were friendly and our room... More

This is not what I would call a 'lodge', but a motel with a few other amenities on the premises that others have already written about. If people are giving this place a 4 or a 5 star, one has to wonder why? What are they really rating? Certaintly not the motel or the facility. This motel doesn't even compare... More
