This property is part of the Ascend group, which itself is part of the large Choice Hotel Group. The suite is very large, almost a one bedroom condo. It appears to be quite new or recently renovated and as such, is a tiny bit rough around the edges, but I suspect they will work the bugs out soon. There are... More

We are a family of 5. Stayed at les Suites Victoria end of July-early August 2014, in a one-bedroom suite with full kitchen. Newly-renovated hotel...not all finished, but very nicely decorated. A Moca Loca cafe serves a very small breakfast...pastries w juice or coffee-tea. The neighborhood is full of good restaurants and bistros... There is a paid washing machine on... More

I am in Ottawa at least monthly for business and thought I would try this place out. Great set up. Full kitchen with island and couch with TV in the main room. A second, also large, TV in the bedroom. Bathrobes provided. Breakfast is very light, only a pastry and coffee OR juice. Couch is a pull out. Only complaint... More

This hotel is newly renovated and it looks very nice. The bed is super comfortable and the kitchen is fully functional. Quiet neighborhood with a few restaurants close by. Hotel management does need to re-think the breakfast option, coffee OR juice and one pastry dis not work for us. Parking is limited.

We stayed here two nights so we could tour Ottawa. The location was good since the walking distance downtown was about 20-25 minutes and was less expensive than downtown hotels. The staff was courteous and the unit was clean. The suites are good for weekly business stays not for hotel stays where you want daily services. Our room was not... More

Ok, this isn't the Hilton down the road, so keep your expections at bay. My daughter stayed here during the Eastern Canadian Cross-Country Ski championships with her team, as she's been doing for a number of years, and it's been an ideal hotel at the right price for their needs -- nothing fancy, kitchenettes in the rooms to make a... I stayed there a few times with my family. Friendly staff, quiet nice rooms, laundry and internet service. Walk from there isnt short though so i would advice on getting car or taxi. Convenience store is across a street, so is another street with bars and cocktails :)

I would never book this hotel anymore! We booked via priceline.com, the site was saying that the tax were included in the overall price. Once there, the lady gave a a room, but the air conditioning wasn't working at all, just blowing some air in the room. Because we had a 3 month old baby, we went to ask to... More

I booked this online, because it was within a few minutes of the LacLeamy Casino! Most of the Hotels in the Ottawa vacinity included Gatineau was pricier, and this was a bit lower! Unfortunately, there was absolutely no restaurants in the immediate area, and no place to get a few groceries to have in the room. Basically you had to... More

I spent a fortnight at LSV at the beginning of my move to Ottawa from elsewhere in Canada. The rooms are decently appointed, with a largish living room, a meal nook and a relatively comfortable (but incredibly dark) kitchenette. The appliances and kitchen "stuff" provided suffice for one or two people preparing meals, but wouldn't stand the test of a... More
