***BE AWARE OF THE 24 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY*** With so many hotels allowing cancellation up to 6:00 pm on the date of arrival I was quite taken aback to find that Canad Inns has a 24 hour cancellation policy. Yes, it is clearly stated on their web site IN FINE PRINT but this is just another thing that will make... More

This hotel was recommended to me but I probably would not stay again. The lobby area gives an impression of a very nice hotel but upon entering our room there was a musty/moldy smell that the A/C kinda got rid of. Extension cords running everywhere and, in this day and age I cannot believe that hotels cannot afford flat screen... More

Where to begin? We wanted to pay cash for our stay and were told that "company policy for suites was they had to be paid for by credit card" -- having just lost a credit card, we ended up having to scramble to sort out getting the room paid for. Afterwards we were told that "regular rooms" could be paid... More

I arrived late at night, and the motel's location is good: just off the Trans-Canada Highway in this city just west of Winnipeg. Even though it's called Canad Inn, it's part of a chain found only in Manitoba and North Dakota---and they advertise themselves mainly as "Destination Centres/Centers" rather than motels. The motel has a layout reminiscent of a 1970s-80s... More

I always stay at canad inns when traveling if available. This is not a canad in my eyes. The service was terrible it took 45 minutes to check in. Seriously!! My room was clean but the 1990 carpet freshener was choking me and my family. The pool had so much chlorine my kids were coughing so hard almost throwing up... More

Room was probably above average condition and appointments. But, it had a noticeable perfumed/talc powder smell. Maybe covering a previous smoker? Tried to use pool before leaving in am, but didn't open til 09.00

The room was small, but comfortable. It was quiet and clean. I would choose this hotel again. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. The hotel was centrally located, easy to find and close to everything. Overall a good experience.

stumbled on this property after a long day on the road which included an hour wasted lost in Winnipeg. so it was a welcome site to find what looked like a good clean place in from of us. our greeting was cordial for such a late check in. the room was all it could be, the beds comfortable, and the... My clean room had noisy bar fridge and & a bed you can feel springs through. Also, they wouldn't let the pizza man past the desk and made me miss some of my football game to meet him out front. Wifi & TV worked well.
