Have stayed there several times on our way to and from Vancouver - great place!! I don't know what else to put here to achieve the 200 character minimum - Quesnel is a vibrant city that has weathered many economic storms and still survives

The thermastat didn't seem to work, the bathtub didn't hold water, hot tub closes early, no extra blankets....it was a very cold night! But the room was clean, it was a cheap place for tired travelers.

Stayed here for a couple of night while in Quesnel visiting family. It is pretty typical of a Quality Inn but having been in it while it was the Talisman I can saw some of the upgrades are nice with the gyproc covering the exposed cinder block, new flat screen tv's and the linens. This property has been updated - it is excellent. They have joined Quality Inns. Their rates are higher than what TripAdvisor was showing June 2012.

Quesnel is a real working town with pulp mills and sawmills etc so many of the hotels are used by contractors. Love this hotel. We stayed here in May and again in Sept. The rooms are great, clean, spacious but the beds are so hard. We could not get a good night's sleep.

The Talisman Inn is good value for your money. It is an older building, and can be quite noisy if the windows are open because it is so close to the main road, but pretty quiet with the windows closed.
