We've stayed at the Village Country Inn countless times. We keep going back because it's clean, warm, secure, friendly, very quiet, and is priced just right. Its quaint country stylings are pleasing to the eye and make for a very cozy atmosphere. The Fireside Tea Shoppe provides you with delicious home made treats as well as a huge variety of... More

we stayed for a week at the inn expecting a bed and breakfast but breakfast is not included and considering the price this is something that was disappointing. The bed and even the pillows were so hard that we didn't get much sleep all week. We didn't run into one other person who was staying there the whole week and... More

This property is a nice boutique hotel. It is not a B&B even though the property seems to be designed as such. The rooms are of generous size. The bedding had a strong odor, that I could not decide was urine or some sort of scent. The mountain goat hanging around was cute. Free wifi.

Thank you for the clarification as we are not a B&B, nor do we advertise that we are a B&B. Our linens are changed at every room change with fresh laundered linens. Our staff take pride in their roles of cleaning rooms and washing laundry. The main air conditioning unit is located out side at the rear of the building... More

We stayed four nights in a Queen room which was tastefully decorated and clean. The bed was very comfortable and well outfitted with good quality bedding, pillows and an afgan just in case more was needed. We were a bit confused with the service as the first day after spending a night, the shower was cleaned, the bed made up... More

Thank you for staying with us for 4 days. We apologize for the lack of servicing in your room during the latter part of your stay. We had hired a new cleaning person who was experienced, however it was not until a few days later that we discovered her method of daily servicing was much different than our standards. We... More

We really enjoyed our one night here while on a trip visiting several ski resorts in BC. It was great to have a quaint country inn stay in the midst of several nights in mostly chain motels. We had a beautiful, comfortable corner room with a door to the outside as well as one to the inner hallway. The outside... More

We have been to Radium many times and have always wanted to stay at Village Inn - last weekend we got the opportunity and we were very pleased with the two nights we were there. We had rented the Kootenay Suite, a large room which had a sitting area and a king size bed - a very comfortable bed indeed.... More

We had a nice peaceful stay for two nights. The rooms are comfortable and the lobby/sitting area was fantastic...it even had a cribbage board! Across the street is a playground AND an outdoor workout area. (adult playground). This was great since my wife could continue her morning exercises away from home. Also, thanks Fern for the great restaurant recommendations. I... More

The recently installed playground across the street from the Village Country Inn has been a great attraction for families to the area. The adult work-out area is quite unique and we get a lot of positive feedback regarding this equipment. Radium is blessed with a number of great dining establishments and we are glad you enjoyed our recommendations. We look... More

We stayed here in August, 2013, and were given the impression that an early check in for the next day was an imposition. Our more relevant issues focussed on the too loud air conditioner (the weather was hot), no fan and only venetians with no black out drapery. Our room was east facing towards the highway and town so we... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments. As you are aware, we are small family owned and operated business with only 14 rooms. We do try to accommodate early check-in requests, however during the busy summer months and a limited number of rooms available it does make it a challenge to accommodate real early check-ins. We hoped... More

Our two nights at the inn were relaxing. The hosts are friendly and very helpful. Good advice on where to eat and what to do in the area. It is just far enough from the highway. To be very quiet. We would stay there again.

The main floor verandah is very popular with our guests. We are glad you enjoyed the extra freedom the verandah provided to you whether it is eating your breakfast in the morning sun or enjoying a glass of wine during the evening. We hope to see you again on your next trip to Radium. Fern and Graham More
