We stayed at Motel Tyrol in May 2011. It was off season, so we had a great rate of $68 dollars per night. After a long drive from Vernon, my fiance was sick and we just wanted to find somewhere clean to lay our head's for the night. Radium is very quiet at this time of year, so we had... More

We just finished our stay at Motel Tyrol and enjoyed our time there. It's not the "Four Seasons" but nice for an small independant motel. The location is within a 30 minute walk to the hot springs and 5-10 minutes from numerous restaurants. The owners were friendly and quickly changed our stay from 6 nights to 5 nights. We stayed... I made my reservation, held with a M/C, three weeks prior to our stay. I was given a confirmation number and told over the phone that the room was $114 per night, plus tax. I repeated this back to the owner, as it was well below what it was costing us in Seattle, he didn't correct me. When we arrived... More

We had a great stay at the Motel Tyrol in Radium Hot Spring. Granted that it was a little out-dated, but it was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely go back. The best thing by far was the type of room we booked. It had two separate bedrooms. As we travelled with extended family and a small child, this... More

Small, but updated bathrooms. Coffee makers and mini-fridges in the rooms. No air conditioning, but Radium usually cools off at night. Parking immediately outside the rooms. Swimming pool and hot tub are quite old, but are clean and work well. No phones in the rooms, but there is a pay-phone outside the office. Rooms in the back are quiet. Traffic... More

old, hot, smelly. guests can't have pets - but the owners ratty dog comes and goes in each room as he pleases. there is no smoking, but the owner smokes on the porch and the stench goes in the room through your open screen door - open because there is no air conditioning, just an oscillating fan on the desk... We were 2 families travelling together. When we book this hotel we simply booked 2 rooms and never specified which family would use which room (one had a kitchen and the other one not). They have decided for us who would have the kitchen and who sleep in which room. But this is not what we had planed and we... More

This motel is not only old and out dated, it is quite simply OVER PRICED. Even if it is a destination place in the B.C. rookies. The rooms might has well as been a flashback to 1975 when I was 12. It smelt of urine. The beds, well I think i would have been more comfortable sleeping in the actual... More
