My family and I (group of 7) stopped here on our way home from our vacation in southern BC and the only good thing I can say about it is that it was close to the hot springs. The service was okay. The clerk did her best to have our large group together. The room was not ok. The mattresses... more

I have stayed at the Radium Hot Springs Lodge several times in the 1990's and at that time, the hotel was old. It looks to me that little has been done to update or maintain this hotel, and as a result, it is in very poor condition. It was actually quite disappointing to see how this hotel has deteriorated. This... more

Stayed here on our way back from Calgary. I didn't find it too cheap for the rooms that they were selling. Old, dirty etc. The bathroom was not even cleaned. Phoned the front desk and there was no cleaning staff on duty to come and clean it so we had a hairy sink and bathtub. Carpet very stained and dirty.... more

Just got back from Radium... have been there before and stayed in town at a LOVELY little Inn, this time we thought we'd try the lodge (for the sake of it's proximity to the pools, of course). It was expensive compared to the others in town, but we thought we'd get a more 'resort like' atmosphere there. Wrong. It was... more

In its day I’m sure this hotel was magnificent. You cannot get a room closer to the hot springs than this hotel. There is an elevator that takes you down to street level, then a tunnel that goes under the highway to the pools. The elevator is very old and slow and it is kind of hard to find. We... more

So, my boyfriend and I stayed here for one night. It was over priced, weird and creepy. It was not only outdated, it was very Bates Motel-ish. Smelled like old man. What really broke the camel's back was when my boyfriend and I woke up to what seemed like a party in our room at 2:30 a.m. The room next... more

If you're tired of a long day on the road--namely through the Banff and Kootenay Nat. Parks on the border betw. BC and Ab, this location is a terrific place to pull over. Great place for a room/swim/meals, with or without kids. They had a special rate for room/1 swim/full breakfast (around 170.00 Ca). The mineral springs are a short... more

This nice little lodge is in the national park. We loved the excellent location of this Kootenay Lodge. Not only is it in the National Park, but it is also directly across the street from the Hot Springs. This was great for us - because after an enjoyable day on the water on a raft trip we could just park... more

We stayed at the Radium Hot Springs Lodge August long weekend 2007. Overall we were not impressed at all. The hotel was not clean. Cobwebs in some corners, a mouse trap under the dresser, the carpets look dirty etc. There was no Shampoo/Comditioner or any other extras. No alarm clock, no fridge. Everything is very outdated. I would'nt of had... more

My son and I choose this hotel as a good place to stop inbetween the Columbia Icefields and Glacier Park in Montana. The access to the Hot springs across the street was the attraction. We did not realize though that the hotel is in the national park so we needed to buy another park pass to get to the hotel.... more
