Tiny quaint inn, right on river with some rooms above rapids. In heart of tiny town. Peaceful, quiet, but in center of adorable little town. Nice rooms, unique lovely public rooms. Good breakfast, helpful hostess.

This is a gem of a B&B, nestled right next to the raging torrent of the river cascade, a short walk from the center of this artist colony town about one hour's drive north of Montreal. Josee is the perfect hostess and a great cook. We stayed two nights, both were quiet and comfortable in an upstairs B&B room. Near... More

If you can, try getting the Beethoven room. It has a panoramic view of the river with a private deck. The other rooms were very cozy and quaint but not much of a view or none at all. Josee our hostess/owner was nothing short of fantastic; very attentive, friendly, and accommodating to our needs. And the breakfast she prepares is... More

M. Jollie and partner bought this place from a German Canadian who had painted many of the doors and shutters in exquisite German designs. She has kept them up superbly, even the exterior paintings, which she treats twice yearly to preserve them in a nearly original state. The rooms are named after German composers. The whole place is immaculate. The... More

M. Jollie is very welcoming, so nice, makes a tasty and healthy breakfast, and gives perfect advice regarding restaurants for dinner. It does not get better! The location is a short walk to the town center, which is very entertaining. Drop by the glass blower. The interior decoration is very classy and unique. Painted doors, painted cast iron tub, skylights,... More

We loved this B&B, which was one of our stops on the P'tit Train du Nord. It's right on the trail, and a very short walk from Val-David's charming business district. The exterior is a little precious, making us wonder whether the interior would be fussy, but instead it's warm, well designed, and uncluttered. The room was large and comfortable,... More

We stayed in the Beetoven room which was wonderful with procure terris, clawfoot tub, shower and a full window of a rushing river! Josee our hostess/owner was very accommodating she had a shed to lock our bikes up too.The breakfast was very good with homemade yogurt with granola and egg toast cups with ham.The B&B is just a short walk... Stayed with five adults, one stop on a 200 km bike trip on the P'tit Train du Nord. What a wonderful location and host. Very clean rooms, unique inn. A beautiful spot directly on the river, so relaxing to sit and enjoy in the back of the inn. The Inn is directly off of the bike path and a 5... More

I can't add to what the other reviewers have said, only to emphasize how much we enjoyed this wonderful B&B. The setting is beautiful, extremely relaxing. The owner is very attentive and professional. And the breakfast was terrific.

Five of us stayed here on our last night of a bike trip on the P'tit Train du Nord. We had an excellent stay. The inn is well located, right off the bike path, on a beautiful river and just a short walk into town, which has quite a few nice shops, galleries and restaurants. The owner, Josee, was very...
