We stayed at the Northern Lights on their last night of the season in mid-October, but their welcome was as warm as it could be. Very decent sized motel room, with large bathroom, comfortable beds, good TV and functiong WiFi. Our Golden Retriever pup was happy too, and tore around the motel site a couple of dozen times before retiring....

I visited the motel in August on my way to Thunder Bay. The Northern Lights free breakfast alone is worth the stop. The rooms are excellent with a collection of humorous sayings scattered through-out the room. You are always treated as valued guests by the owners. A stop I never miss when travelling west on 17.
