Had a 3 day, 2X1 guided duck hunting/fishing trip arranged. Couldn't get in first day as weather too bad to fly..it happens and not their fault. "Fishing the Finest" is an understatement. I have stayed at many Canadian wilderness camps in the past, but this one surpassed all expectations. i just want to let everyone know how great pine portage lodge is ....5 star lodge ...great food.. outstanding slad bar ....great fishing ...walleyes should be bigger than last year witch means sandwhichs for lunch ..hard to catch eaters for lunch.... your host are wonderful ..will attend to all your needs ...always something knew even after 20 years of going... Pine Portage Lodge is a first class operation from start to finish. It starts with the office staff in Wawa and the way they treat every customer as if they were family. The pilots that fly their planes are true professionals. Their main concern is to get the customers to the lodge on time BUT never sacrificing the customers safety.... More
