I regularly stay at this little motel on my drives West. Normally I hit the big hotel chains where they have fairly strict standards that the owners have to abide by. Needless to say that there are no large chains in Wawa so I discovered the Beaver Motel. The rooms are a little small and a bit dated but you... More

While eating at the local subway restaurent I asked about the accomodations in the area and the cashier described the Beaver Motel as "pretty good". I was served quickly and headed up to my room. It's a small northern type of place, with a small tv and wifi. For a quick stop this place is fine and I had a... More

We just needed to stop for the night from traveling all day, we went to a few different motels and this was the best one for sure. New bedding, pillows, tv and chairs. it was an older motel but it was a good/clean place to stay

This low costing motel (for this area) is a good choice for a one night stay on your trip to elsewhere. As others have pointed out the rooms are clean and provide a good nights sleep. But be warned the rooms are small and provide little in a way of extras e.g. coffee maker, shampoo and your room may be... More

The room seemed not to be very clean and bed was very soft. The room could use a coat of paint and a new carpet. Maybe because we had a dog with us we got this room but it seemed to be dull and well used. The rate seemed high for what we received, much the same price as a... More

Clean room, polite staff and comfortable beds. What more do you need! Stayed here before a fly in ear hunt. Close to the air base. Not much parking if you are pulling a trailer. Close to food. The TV service could have been better but that really didn't take away anything.

We were driving north and needed a place to spend the night. At Beaver's the staff was friendly, the room and bathroom clean. if you are passing by Wawa and looking for a simple and clean hotel, this is just perfect.

Stayed at this hotel on my way to Winnipeg and was able to enjoy the town on Canada Day. Quite frankly, the only reason I stayed here was The Beaver sounded friendlier than the White Fang option :) It was also much closer to downtown Wawa. Anyway, I found my room small, but adequate and all I needed. The bed... More

I'm traveling across Canada right now and motels that take cats without shoving you in the worst room are hard to find. Room is small but SUPER clean. Despite being a smoker's room it didn't smell like cigarettes. Renovated recently from the looks of it. room overall a biiiiiit small but the cleanliness made it a worth every moment.

I spent two very pleasant nights at the Beaver Motel. The rooms are very clean and quiet, no smell of smoke, as previously indicated. The owners and housekeeping staff were extremely accommodating. There are several restaurants within walking distance. They also have onsite National Car Rental. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, and would highly recommend the Beaver Hotel... More
