If you're expecting a 3 star B&B, you'll be super impressed; if you're expecting 4.5 stars, it's mostly what you'd expect. The bathroom was lovely with delightful bath products and the bed was excellent; however, the rooms weren't entirely sound-proof... Ours was also quite dark and looked out onto the parking lot.

We booked one night at L'Etoile du Havre, but decided to stay for 2 nights because of the welcome and atmosphere of the place. The house is of very striking modern design, built by Denis and Benoit themselves. It has a spacious two-level entrance gallery filled with artwork, a huge comfortable living room with a huge picture window, a baby... More

While looking for a place to get away for our mini-honeymoon, we wanted something that wasn't far from home and that wouldn't break the bank. We were a bit skeptical about booking at a B&B. But with this being both our first experience at a B&B, we were pleasantly surprised. We were greeted at the front door by the owners... More

I do not have much experience in B&B but this surely gave me a good impression. As mentioned several times, the owners are extremely friendly and are very dedicated to make this place top notch. I highly recommend this place if you enjoy discussing with other guests as well as the owners. All the rooms look really good and there... More

Before experiencing this bed & breakfast I had checked it on trip adviser and it was rated 100% something I had never seen on trip adviser. Now that I have been there I understand the place is new modern and just gorgeous the rooms are out of a magazine and the owners are welcoming and very friendly the breakfast was... More

Our family stayed at Gite l'Etoile du Havre for two nights in late July. We could tell right away that this place was special. Denis and Benoit greeted us by name and took our luggage to our rooms, and then we had some wine and chatted. There was an eclectic mix of guests while we were there, including an NB... More

Our hosts Denis and Benoit were fabulous! Very personable and passionate about their B&B which showed in the attention to details throughout their home and in the service. Breakfast every morning was outstanding. The rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable and air conditioned! We stayed for a long weekend to attend a wedding and had the most wonderful time. The golf... More

Others have more than adequately described how beautiful and modern this B&B is. Such a refreshing change from "antiques" and similar. It's worth staying here just to experience the high end design (especially when your own home isn't quite so much that!). We were welcomed with wine and snacks. Sleep was comfortable, breakfast was great. However, we were less appreciative... More

No question about it, this B&B has all others knocked into a cocked hat so far as the decor is considered. Most unprepossessing from the outside, the interior is the product of what I’d guess was a million dollar renovation, or building. Of its kind (ultra modern) no better anywhere in eastern Canada. The host, Denis Hachey is a great... More
