The rooms are dark, narrow, and a little outdated. The new shower enclosure and flat screen tv screen are the most endearing part of the the 'Comfort Inn' experience. The price is the same as the big cities and - however continental breakfast is included.

This property just converted their old kitchen units to 100% remodeled units- very clean, comfortable property. I always choose this property in Gander, it is the most up to date and cleanest which is very important.

I have stayed here on a number of occassions. It took me a while to know what to ask for when making a reservation. I should have asked for the newly renovated rooms. I stayed in their suites on a couple of trips and they had a very strange smell in the rooms. The newer rooms are much nicer even... More

I always seem to check in at this hotel late at night to wonderful Newfoundland charm that I've become used to traveling to the rock. Always friendly atmosphere and decent continental breakfast in the morning make this my place to stay in Gander. Room was traditional comfort inn style - updated with a huge flat screen. Was given room away... More

I stayed here for 3 weeks for business in the middle of winter and had a great stay. The options for hotels in Gander are limited and most are very dated. The comfort inn was dated at the time of my stay, but after recent discussions with the GM, they are updated a number of rooms with new furniture, carpet,... More

I stayed at the hotel for two nights for a convention, choosing this over the Hotel Gander (a very short walk away). The staff were friendly and attentive (although check in was slow as molasses) and the room was good (I booked a junior suite ... has a sitting are separate from the sleeping area with a kitchenette in between).... I've stayed at a few different hotels in Gander now and this is the first one that deserves another stay. Having said that, it is wayyyy overpriced! $132 for one night at a hotel in Gander is ridiculous for the off-season! I pay less at a much nicer hotel in St. John's. Check in was OK but I was put... We stayed here en route between St. John's and Twillingate and wished we would have driven strait through. The inn was not fancy but reasonably clean. Our efficiency room was at the very back of the hotel on the top floor and was in dire need of updating. There was scaffolding and construction going on directly outside of our window.... More

This is just a typical Comfort Inn. We had put in a fairly long day of driving and wanted a place to stop, reorganize, and get ready for another week of bed and breakfasts and more remote parts of Newfoundland. The rooms here are clean, large, and comfortable. They had a washer and dryer which you could use for free... More

Gander is a stopping off place for people going elsewhere or leaving extravagantly early from Gander Airport, so a great sleep is a must. I stayed twice at the Gander Comfort Inn, arriving at 3:00 in the morning at one stay. I was warmly greeted, directed to my room, and had a good sleep The rooms are clean and are... More
