Debbie and Bruce were great hosts! We stayed for two weeks and felt very at home. We had a kitchenette in our room and fresh towels and sheets whenever we needed. A microwave was a great plus! We did all our shopping at Qualicum Foods and just cooked in the room...we saved a lot of dollars. Our room was near... more
This was the best place we stayed during our tour of the island. The rooms were spotless, the view second to non and the host went out of their way to make sure we had a good visit. We'll be back, hopefully for a longer stay next time!!!!! I think we found a real treasure. more
After reading earlier reviews we were expecting something better. Our room was musty smelling and not overly clean. It felt like the outside wooden deck was rotting...didn't want to risk sitting out there. Wouldn't go back to this motel. more
My husband and I have stayed at the Sand Pebbles Inn over the last few years when in Qualicum Beach B.C. Everything from the location of this hotel, to the hospitality of the owners is perfect. The sunset over the ocean at night looks like a picture in a post card, and it is amazingly reasonable. The town is friendly and easy to get to from the hotel, and the food in the area is great. more

From Victoria, we drove up the east side of the Island and 2 hours and 30 minutes into the trip we got out to look at the beach in Qualicum Beach. It might have been that the tide was out,... more
Really enjoyed our brief stay at the Sand Pebbles Inn. Loved the location on the beach - great place to sit and have a nightcap or morning coffee. Only thing that would make it better, would be central air conditioning - although even that isn't much of a deterent! more
What a wonderful place to stay. We missed our annual BC trip in 2003 and missed our extended stay at the Sand Pebbles Inn. Bruce and Debbie are wonderful hosts and have made our stays even more delightful. Cannot wait to get back up to beautiful Vancouver Island and staying at The Sand Pebbles Inn. Jack and Dovie Sorensen, Crosby,... more
While older, it is clean and right on the beach. Listen to surf, beachcomb/swim on great sandy beach; walk/drive up to great shops in village. Two restaurants less than 2 minutes walk away. Upper units have small patio, all rooms have views. Reasonably priced for a night or a week. more
