We are repeat customers at La Sabline and will likely stay again as the south shore of the St. Lawrence between Quebec City and Mont Joli is worth a repeat visit. La Sabline has everything you expect in a top notch B&B. The Library Room on the first floor is especially nice. The entire property radiates a sense of calm,... More

We stayed here for one night on the way to New Brunswick. The Auberge is a charming old house with lots of history to it. Our room, The White Goose Room, was on the second floor. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable with lots of fluffy pillows and the loveliest silky feeling to the sheets.... More

We stayed at La Sabline as we followed the magnificent southern coast of the St. Laurence. The place is so nice and the hosts so welcoming and engaging that it was a shame to stay only one night. We will surely return for a longer stay. The house is a historical gem and is well appreciated, appointed, maintained and managed... More

Thank you so much for your stay at our place. Thank you very much for your appreciation. We had an open house on July 4, 2015 as part as John A. MacDonald bicentennial commemoration. We were delighted to share this gem house with hundred or so visitors interested in knowing Rivière-du-Loup's history especially the Old St-Patrick compound. We take every... More

This was our second stay with Christine and Thierry. We were traveling with another couple, and we had two gorgeous en suite rooms. The house is a lovingly kept Victorian mansion near the river. Breakfast was wonderful: fresh waffles with an abundance of different fruits. We will be back!

Christine and Thierry are fabulous hosts with great stories to share about the home, area history -- and life in general... Had room at top of stairs with its own full bath. Very spacious, immaculate and great personal touches like chocolates on the study table. Wifi was great. Historic home is, in a word, eclectic. Restoration and updating continues and... More

Thank you very much for your stay at our place. We were delighted to meet with you. In fact, we shared a few common interests, with Christine Habitat for Humanity for example. I enjoyed previewing your photos in your virtual gallery. Autumn is giving me a great opportunity to try my camera and its lens. I am amazed on how... More

A beautiful house with lot's of things to do around and inside. Hosts were very kind and thoughtful. We had the large room downstairs and my daughter's couple upstairs both with own shower and bath. The whole place was clean and well maintained, and bed very comfortable. The shared living room area was very spacious and well decorated. It's a... More

Loved this B&B! Great breakfast, clean rooms and a nicely modernized bathroom in this old home make for a comfortable stay. A few rooms have two beds or a pull out couch at least, making it easier for family trips (when not everyone wants to climb in the same bed)! Highly recommend and the price is right.

Thank you very much for your review. The size of our rooms is indeed large enough to accommodate the extra travellers in the pull-out couch. In fact, our largest room, the Library-room, with its King size bed and the pull-out couch, still offer ample space to gather everyone in the room for a drink. The size of our backyard is... More

This was a lovely break in the middle of two days of driving. Qualtiy of furnishings and linens was excellent as was the service. I stayed for two nights, Christine and her husband are the most wonderful hosts. We stay in B&Bs whenever possible when we travel, and I can easily say the Huard Room is by far the largest room we have ever stayed in. It’s really much more a suite than a room!
