I stayed for two nights, Christine and her husband are the most wonderful hosts. Not only did i get a guided tour of the house, with the history of when it was built and for who, but also Christine asked me if I would like recommendations on where to go and what to do. Thierrys breakfast are amazing, the dinner... More

We are so delighted to have you at our place for two nights. Thank you so much for your wonderful words. We are lucky to have a large house that is so quiet. It is an ideal place to relax and to enjoy the natural surrounding. Our flowers take their turn to blossom in our garden. Thank you for choosing... More

We stay in B&Bs whenever possible when we travel, and I can easily say the Huard Room is by far the largest room we have ever stayed in. It’s really much more a suite than a room! Christine and Thierry told us the Auberge la Sabline was originally designed as a summer home, capable of handling multiple guests and this... More

Thank you very much for your very kind words. We are glad that you had a memorable experience with us. Our property is indeed an ideal location for a prolonged stay to simply relax with our meditation room, our veranda, our large garden with its little forest crossed by trails. We are in a walking distance to enjoy the St.... More

We stayed only one night but could have stayed more in the huge library room which has so much atmosphere. Waking up to look outside through the huge garden was so peaceful. The House is beautiful in such a peaceful surrounding. The library room was so comfortable but there is also a beautiful lounge/ breakfast room which looks out through... More

Thank you for coming from so far away and visiting us. We are delighted to discuss with you the history of our house and learning about the probable origin of our stair's pole. We had an open-house recently and got to meet a lady who is related to the owner of the house when it became the St. Patrick's Inn... More

As has been said by almost every review this is a charming place with the most helpful and helpful hosts. Two nights of quiet and restful sleep were enough to set us on the road again with our batteries recharged. This is a great stop in which to just relax, and excellent breakfast, although if you are looking for a... More

Auberge La Sabline is exactly the kind of old house I’ve always wished to view from the inside. So staying there was even better. We, a family of three stayed in the room Le Huard, a huge “library” room with a small private bathroom. The bed was enormous as was the sofa bed that still had the measurements of a... More

Thank you so much for writing a review of l'auberge la Sabline. It took us this long to figure out that we can respond to you and thank you for your stay at our place. Indeed, we acquired l'auberge la Sabline in June 2013. We were in our learning curve. We are glad that you appreciated our hospitality and we... More

It's a long drive from Nova Scotia to Montreal in winter, so, we stopped half way. Friendly, warm hosts eager to show off their house. They've only owned it for 4 years and as Louise told us "bought it on a whim". The house itself is old a beautiful with wonderful architectural details. Since we were the only guests, Louise... More

This lovely renovated old house has a feeling of peace within its walls...and on its veranda and gardens! Our bedroom, "L'Oie Blanche" was absolutely tranquil, with a divinely comfortable bed! though traffic in the early evening, once all the local people had retruned home from work, it was quiet. We really appreciated the constant breeze from the river that blew... More

This Auberge is an incredible house with a very interesting history that Gaetan is happy to tell you about. The rooms are huge, our room - La Huard - was vast, and the bed incredibly comfortable. Gaetan welcomed us on arrival and offered us hot drinks which were very welcome, then he advised us on places to eat and how... More

This is the second time we've stayed in this large and very gracious old home. We had a huge room with a shared bath on the second floor. This was not a problem at all. The Inn was very quiet and the hosts very friendly and outgoing and told us all about the history of the Inn.

I have just stayed in this wonderful old B&B. It is run by Gaetan and Louise who were so hospitable. Beautiful bedroom and wonderful bed - I slept like a baby - it was bliss.
