The motel was very clean through out, from the lobby, rooms, and the pool. Room rates were very fair. The owner had a ton of dining recommendations. Reception was very warm and courteous as well. Definitely a pleasant stay and we will stay again if ever in the area.

We stayed here in a bit of a frantic search for a hotel as the other reservation we initially made ended up being a total disaster. The gentleman at the front desk who checked us in around 10:30pm was so sweet and friendly. The rooms cannot be described as anything other than homey, clean and comfortable. Nice comfy beds and... My husband and I have stayed here on two occasions (soon to be a third) and have always received a warm and friendly welcome at check-in. After long days of driving, we have slept like babies in a comfortable bed in a quiet room. The bathrooms are very clean and tidy. We have also had the distinct pleasure of eating... More

We stayed here in August 2014 on a long road trip. The view is as spectacular as all the reviews claim. The kids liked the pool a lot and it had a lifeguard. The room was super clean and the shower was good. It was also large and there were chairs to sit outside. There are doors on both ends... More

An old fashioned motel with reasonable rates and clean functional rooms. We've been using this place for years as a stop-over on our way to the Maritimes and have always had a comfortable stay. In the summer they have a lovely pool and early morning coffee is available. The view of the St Lawrence is incredible, you can see the... More

We stayed here 11 years ago and were very pleased to discover that it was still open. Stayed in a unit at the back overlooking the St Lawrence River. The room we were in was quite large. Two double beds, fridge, table and chairs and outside chairs from which to view the river. The room was very clean as was the... More

This property takes "cheap and clean" to the next level! The rooms are actually fine - it's a motel - and the grounds are very well kept. Everything from the outdoor pool to the parking lot is spotless. (No scary bathrooms here - cleaner than my own!) And the owners are obviously involved in every aspect of the operation: they... We've stayed here several times in our trips from Toronto area to Saint John, being about 1000 kms. This place is a step into the past, as it looks the same as it did decades ago. A simple strip parallel to the St. Lawrence River. The rooms are spotlessly clean, if a tad small, with the back units having breathtaking... More

We stayed here two times, once on our way to the Gaspe, and again on the way back. We were very pleased both visits. Had the same room. Ask for one of the back rooms with a beautiful view of the water. Very hospitable owners. The room and bathroom was A1 clean. Small sized room, but but still very inviting.... More

We stayed here on our way to Gaspe last week. As soon as they realized by our very broken french, that we did not speak french, they switched to english easily. The view from the rooms along the St Lawrence were amazing. The owners helped us find great pizza and the pool stayed open a little longer so our kids... More
