I was just there yesterday and the room is quite standard but nice (more three stars), but the installations (pool, lounge/patio with fire installations for cold evening, free bicycles, bar and restaurants) are excellent, and sunset views everywhere on the property. There are however pavillons without views, be careful when booking (the hotel website is clear). It is the best... More

We stayed in one of the annexes facing the river (2 Queen beds) We did not have reservations but they were able to accommodate us. The desk clerk was able to communicate to us in English. The room was clean and comfortable with a huge patio door to be able to enjoy the sound and sights of the water. The... More

The hotel is nicely situated, all the rooms face the St Laurent which is very nice! White Linen test - pass! The hotel is very clean - the sheets and towels are spotless (i am maniac in that way!!) Recreation/Spa: Jacuzzi and Sauna do not get too hot, dont go there for these two reasons. The pool, though indoor wasn't... More

Stopped in our way through after a long drive. Front desk was great even though we had no reservations and even asked whether we wanted to see the room. Room was on the second floor facing the water and what a view. The view from the deck is amazing as well and we hung out listening to the waves of... More

We drove up the south coast of the St. Lawrence River from Quebec City on the Navigator Route. We found the Auberge and secured a lovely room with a spectacular view of the river from the balcony. We also ate dinner and breakfast, as part of a meal plan. The food, particularly dinner, was quite good and the dessert buffet... More

We stayed one night while driving from the Maritimes to Ontario.I booked on Hotwire and was given this hotel at a very good price. When we arrived there was a wedding going on so the small lobby, desk area was very loud and full of people. It took about 20 minutes to check in. Being English speaking only did not... More

Our family has stayed in the cottage at the Auberge de la Pointe once a year for several years. This year we arrived and were very surprised to see the beautiful renovation that had been done over the winter! The cottage has a fully loaded kitchen with Bosch appliances & eating area; nice living room with leather couches (incl. hide-a-bed)... More

Hi Gillian We're happy that you'd love the make-over off the suite-chalet! The only thing that we would love to do differently about the suite-chalet is to have more than one! Thank you for sharing your positive feedback with us, it’s greatly appreciated. Hope to welcome your family again next year! More

A friend and I road tripped from the NYC area to Gaspesie (which is another story - AMAZING). We decided day one's driving where we dropped point would be Riviere du Loop. After a delicious dinner at Symposium, where we checked availability and ratings online, we made our way to the Auberge de la Pointe. What a gem! We sort... More

We were travelling back home after a 2 week road trip and spent a night here. Wow, what a great decision. We discovered that the Inn was overlooking the St. Laurent River , with a bike path, a beach and a relaxing park area. This was all outside the hotel facilities. Within the hotel, there was a great patio/ bar... More
