Every time it go here, I realize what a complete gem this inn and restaurant are in the world. This place is "over the top" excellent. The food is locally grown, fresh and deliciously prepared. You really are in an upscale restaurant in a seaside small town resort community. It does not get better than that!

Best hotel of our trip. Lovely room, stunning views, and amazing pool, which as it was so hot and an added bonus. Best of all the restaurant. Meal was real fine dining, would rate it as one of my most memorable meals.

We stayed here for only one night at the end of May. Our room had a view overlooking the water (in the distance) but unfortunately it rained so the view did not appear until morning. The inn is a lovely reproduction manor with lots of hard woods and a welcoming staff. Our room was comfortable and well set up. We... More

We did a stay and dine package. The inn itself is very pleasant. The meal was superb. I had a beef carpaccio as an appetizer and an olive oil poached halibut that was absolutely outstanding. I am tentatively putting the meal in my top 25. The breakfast was excellent. The waitstaff was friendly, professional and efficient. It was a splurge... More

The Rossmount is just outside St. Andrews and has a nice view, nice little pool and a very rich feel. The restaurant is a big part of the attraction for me. The room I stayed in was quite nice but not spectacular. It was well air conditioned, which was nice because it was about 31 degrees that day. The bed... More

We had a lovey stay at this beautiful old mansion which is filled with antiques. The rooms were spotless and full of character. The dining is unsurpassed in the Maritimes. Would stay here again in a flash.

My husband and I went to The Rossmount in November to celebrate our Anniversary. The meal at the restaurant was ***FANTASTIC*** as usual but the room was not so great. My advice would be to eat at the Rossmount and stay elsewhere. The bathtub was not clean, the room smelled funny and the furnishings might have been antiques but they... More

Stayed here for a business meeting. Lovely building, good rooms. No lifts though, so if you are reliant on one to move between floor you might consider staying some place else. Breakfast is quite light, which is unusual in Canada. Müsli was the star at breakfast, but what else can you expect when the owners are Swiss.
