This hotel is right on the ocean with balconies overlooking the water, even on the first floor. We really enjoyed having the windows and balcony door open to hear the waves. We had two updated rooms. The bathroom was very small with a very low straight back toilet. There is no coffee maker or bottled water in the room and... More

\location is perfect for walking, and dining about town, room view excellent with view of the water and harbor, the exact idea I have of staying in such a quaint small town...staff friendly and welcoming...it is dated, however it added to the overall ambiance of the location....

Not sure why it's called St Andrews Motor Inn on here, the sign says St Andrews Inn ? We wanted a room with a view and did we ever get one! Gerri was the nicest lady that I have ever met, she took the time to show us a couple of the rooms before we committed to a room. They... More

Visited July 5, 2015 - Poor Value – St. Andrew’s Motor Inn - Location and view from motel room were great but that's where it stopped. The facility left a lot to be desired for the high price. Clean, comfortable, dated room with en-suite, moderately appointed, friendly, passable lobby, reasonably located in St. Andrews with good access and egress. Very... More

We spent two nights here in July with our daughter and her family. All the rooms look over the water, so the view is just incredible, any time of day. The rooms are a good size, though the bathrooms are tiny, and they offer standard amenities. As the inn was undergoing renovations, the pool was not available, and the lobby... More

This was fine. The staff was nice, the price was right, the location convenient. We rolled into town after driving all day with word that there was a street festival. apparently the festival was over, it was Sunday night. We were pretty tired and some of the hotels were not open. We only stayed a night and walked down the... More

The hotel was ok but not wonderful, the Manager on the other hand is the most ignorant human I have ever come across. I would not stay at this hotel ever again, even if it was the only one in town. Terrible customer service for a town that relies soley on tourism.. Recently stayed at the Algonquin for our annual... More

Beautiful Victorian style hotel in one of the most picturesque towns in Atlantic Canada. The staff is friendly; the food is top-quality albeit a little on the expensive side for family purposes. Be prepared to spend at this hotel, but know that your money was not wasted.

We have read several negative reviews for this hotel, but we really liked it. A short walk to downtown area. They do not have a restaurant on site, but have a sister inn called the Kennedy. 10% off for those who stay at the St. Andrews. Beautiful view, sit on the balcony and sip a glass of wine. State of... Stayed here one night. The only selling points for this property was that it had outside balconies that were directly waterfront and the rooms were large. I left my contact info. to speak with the manger but did no hear from anyone at the property. Rooms are old musty and outdated. We sat on our balcony but had to dodge... More
