Prior to our issue with Kennedy Inn, we had supper on Dec 5th, and it was fine, basic dining. Our group (8 people) stopped by just before noon on Dec 6th (Sunday). The restaurant was empty. We asked if they were serving breakfast/lunch as we were being seated, and we were told no, they were not. That's fine, restaurants choose... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night while exploring Saint Andrews by-the-sea. Unfortunately, we didn't really enjoy the Kennedy Inn. Check-in was fine, but the staff were not very friendly, and our room was very outdated. I love staying in old buildings - old homes, old hotels etc. This hotel is located in a beautiful building, but it... More

Rooms in need of serious updating, unfriendly staff, poor service, questionable cleanliness. Booked three rooms for five days - not worth the money. Furniture appears to be flea market finds, bathtubs have water stains, towels and amenities need to be replaced as do the mattresses. Restaurant does not open for breakfast.

I think the hotel dates back to 1871....if not that old, it is still an old classic hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much. Rooms are of course, oldish but CLEAN with a good bed, showers and sink. We would definately stay here again. Had snacks on the porch and they were also good. Very friendly staff. YOu can's... More

Stopped in here for drinks and snacks after being out on the ocean all afternoon. This hotel is the oldest in St. Andrews and you can see the wide beams and high doorways that date from and earlier time. They also have six slot machines at the back of the bar!

First time visiting St Andrews. Beautiful spot. We will be back but will never eat at Kennedy Inn again. We sat on patio. Had a drink and meal. Appetizer was blooming onion. It was ok. I ordered pecan crusted chicken stuffed with cheese and broccoli. Sounded good. Nope. It was a tiny piece of chicken flat as a rock and... More

I'm late writing this review but I just want to say the food was amazing. Everything came very quickly and our waiter was very friendly. I absolutely love St Andrews and sitting on the porch watching people and traffic on a warm sunny day was a great time.

We stopped in to the Kennedy Inn for breakfast on a beautiful Saturday morning. We had the pleasure of eating outside; what a gorgeous view ! The food was very good and prompt . Our waitress was also friendly and polite . Would return again just for the nice relaxed atmosphere.

Right in the heart of Water Street, you are surrounded by all the shops, restaurants and pubs this great town has to offer. Big spacious rooms and friendly staff. We had A/C and a small kitchenette. The offer 10% discount for guests at the restaurant/bar. This is a fairly no frills operation so don't expect a five star hotel. But... More
