We stayed for one night here, and I would not have stayed any longer. It is an older hotel, which really shows. The room and hallways have a very musty, smoky odor, bedding and furniture and flooring look really worn and didn't seem clean. Bathroom also has a very unpleasant musty odor. It was okay for one night in a... more

After booking a room at this facility, we were unable to make our trip due to a medical emergency on the day before our scheduled arrival. We called immediately to cancel the room and were then informed that there is a 48 hour cancellation policy and we would therefore be charged for the room. We checked the website of this... more

Clean and pleasant motel. Stayed there 3 times now. Beds are comfortable, staff is friendly. Go to the Sullivan Pub or BJ's pub for dinner (both within 1-2 blocks). Can also go to the Platzl for a fancier meal. Price is ok, but higher than the places on the Platzl. Good location, plenty of parking in the rear, quite. AC... more

We stayed at the Kimberley Inn for 11 nights on a ski holiday from the UK in March 2008. I would not rush back to Kimberley, and if I did go back I wouldn't hurry to stay here again. On our arrival we found the restaurant was closed due to a 'family emergency'. When we asked for how long, thinking... more

This hotel is being renovated and it definitely needs it. I found the clerk at the desk to be very pleasant and the price is certainly good. The room was clean but dated - some of the wallpaper was peeling off the walls. The bed was comfortable enough though. The Pub next door was very quiet. We didn't hear anything... more

Check in was great as we were greeted by very friendly hotel staff. Once we got to our room our immediate impression was that the room was very dated. The weather during our trip was super with temperatures in the high 20's to 30's. Needless to say we would have liked to have had some A/C going. The window style... more

We were there over the long weekend and stayed on the first floor. There was no problem from the pub downstairs. No smoke or noise whatsoever and I am very sensitive to smoke. The rooms were large and clean and right downtown where there were restaurants and bars. more

Our first impression wasn't too bad. The room had a King bed and it was obvious there had been recent attempts to upgrade the decor. The first real awful thing we noticed though was the cigarette smoke drifting into the lobby from a Pub in the lower level of the property. Our room looked out on the rear of the... more

I recently purchased the Mark Creek Lodge (December 4/06) which is now known as the Kimberley Inn. The hotel is now entirely non-smoking, and we are pet friendly. Staffing is all new, well trained and informed. Issues with the pub have been corrected. We expect to introduce a new on-site restaurant within the next few weeks.

We visited Kimberley (the so-called "Bavarian City of the Rockies") as a stopover between Glacier National Park in Montana and Banff National Park in Alberta. While Kimberley itself is to-be-missed during the summer (the Platzl is DEAD and boring, there's absolutely nothing to do in town, and the "Bavarian City" bit is just a sad tourist trap ploy), the Mark... more
