We stayed here on 08/08/14 and were very happy with staff and our room. This hotel was recommended to us from my parents from Wasaga and my aunt and uncle from North Bay. They both have stayed here many times. It was our anniversary and we were given the Champlain Suite at a very reasonable price. We will stay here... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night after at concert at Casino Rama. The room was spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable. I hate the skinny pillows that a lot of hotels have but that wasn't the case here. They were nice and thick and lots of them. If in the area, I would stay here again.

We booked a room in the Highwayman for one night and were expecting the same old chain experience. We were in for a pleasant surprise. Our room was large with two comfy armchairs and a small balcony facing the sunset. There was also a desk for the laptop and a small fridge. Instead of the same old tired breakfast routine... More

Great price for a decent, clean room. Air conditioner worked well. No elevator - so have to lug baggage up two or three flights of stairs if on the upper floor. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast in adjoining restaurant was decent. Economical & clean motel.

Slept there for one night to split our trip in half for a wedding. When I had called they garanteed us an updated room with white duvets. When we got there, they put us with all the contractors in the back..they were drinking and smoking up and it was disgusting! And cigarette butts were scattered all over the ground outside..when... My family and I recently spent the night of July 7 at the Highwayman Inn and Conference Centre in Orillia (201 Woodside Drive) and had a very positive experience coordinating with a young lady named Marleigh. We arrived late in the evening having not secured lodging in Orillia and were running out of choices. Marleigh was very understanding, kind and... More

We have stayed at this hotel before because they have a few good packages. We had a group meet at the hiwayman and they assured us we would be close to each other. This was the case every other year. When we checked in they said they had a group of 40 unexpectedly check in so we were separated. This... More

I stayed at the Highwayman for two nights early in July. Overall it was a good experience ... with a few little glitches. The Highwayman appears to be a 60's-built motel that may have been upgraded about 20 years ago. The rooms are clean and spacious, and those on the second and third floors have small balconies. There was a... More
