My wife and I travelled to the area June 13, 2015 to attend a friend's birthday celebration. While our initial instinct was to book a hotel room, we decided to stay at a B&B in the old part of Gananoque. Trinity House had some recent mixed reviews but we were game to give it a try. Upon our arrival we... More

Thank you for taking the time to provide a review.I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay. We do not include breakfast in our rate since some people do not want breakfast. We are an inn so we offer different amenities than a B&B, i.e. Liquor license and on premises dining room. People also have the option of having Breakfast... More

Our stay was really pretty awful. The room was dirty, with cobwebs behind the sofa bed, and the general standard of workmanship was very poor. We were a group of four, with my parents staying in the bedroom, and my girlfriend and I on the sofa bed in the living room, where there were no curtains on the kitchen window... More

Thank you for your review. I note that your stay was approximately 9 months ago. Many of the concerns that you raise have been taken care of. The suite has been repainted, carpets steamcleaned, wallpaper repaired, and blinds added. There is no excuse for the cob webs and I apologize for that. The suite has been redone. Jacques O'Shea More

When we look for a Bed & Breakfast, we thought that it was one in our search. Upon our arrival, eventhough the warm welcome, we were surprise to find that it's more a restaurant with rooms. We had booked the Prince Regent Suite, which is located in the basement ... eventough it's grand and clean ... it did smell the... More

We came to stay at The Trinity House Inn on this Thanksgiving long weekend oct. 2014. The home is beautifully decorated and we stayed in the Camelot suite. Extremely comfortable bed, great en suite bathroom, with claw foot tub, lots of light with 3 windows. Staff and owner Jacques are very hospitable and do all they can to make you... More

We stayed at the "Prince Regent" suite - $250 plus taxes for one night (breakfast $6 extra). When booking over the phone, Jacques noted this was a "ground floor" room. Well, we were misinformed - the room is in the basement, with two small windows - that's the main reason for me giving it a "two start" rating. We liked... More

Thank you for your review. I recall when you telephoned the morning of the day of your stay. I had 2 rooms available for that night the Grenadier room with twin beds on the main floor at $130 and our Jacuzzi suite in the lower level at $250 per night.I described them in that manner as I have done so... We had read good things about the food there so we decided to dine "in." Sadly, we found the food mediocre at best. Efforts at providing gluten free breakfast food amounted to Rice Krispies. OUr room was OK, comfortable although cramped, and the bathroom was a bit dirty.

Sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your stay here this past July.I can't recall if you advised us of your glutten free dietary requirement but we normally prepare scrambled eggs in such cases along with our normal offering of coffee ,tea ,juice, fresh fruit salad.yogurt, bacon and sausages, preserves.glutten free rice crispies and milk. Nice central place, cosy old house with a high reputation for good food. You must have reservations for the weekends. My wife and I stayed for one night early in August 2014. Clean room on the second floor with private bath. Room was small but clean, bathroom good size. You can walk in every direction and see all attractions, the... More

Up front, I can't review properly because we didn't get the chance to stay there. This was because we phoned the place from the tourist information in Gananoque, and reserved 2 nights and were told the price was 99 dollars a night. In the 5 minutes it took us to get there from the tourist information center, we were informed... More

Thank you for your comments.I must advise you that you did not have a reservation here. The tourist office called ,as they often do,enquiring about our availability. If you had made a reservation I require a credit card # to hold a room. You were looking for a room on a very busy weekend with limited availability.I should have pressed the tourism agent... Really enjoyed the weekend here. Jacques and Austin were very friendly and accommodating. We stayed at the Georgina suite and it felt like we were at home. Will definately stay again next time I stay at Gan.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. It wasn't large but it offered everything we needed. The gardens and patio were oasis-like and the location of the inn was superb with easy access to both the waterfront and the activities of downtown. Dinner was a little pricey but with fine dining, which this was, that's what you get. Staff and... More
