My daughter and I recently stayed in the beautiful and comfortable Williams room which has all of the modern conveniences. The B & B is on the waterfront and is walkable to the theartre and cruise boats of the Thousand Islands of which we attended both to our enjoyment. However, our greatest delight was the gastro pub also attached to... More

Yes another great review for the Stonewater.....people make all the difference and they have that covered. The owners and the pub staff were all first rate! The breakfast on the porch with a choice of home made French toast, eggs, bacon, pancakes and all first rate. The room had 2 chairs to sit and read and cable TV.. Downstairs is... More

My husband stayed here last Friday night. We had the Loft room. Very nice extra large room and the view was awesome. There was a window overlooking the St. Lawrence with a window seat and 2 red leather chairs to sit in to watch all the boats and activity in the water. Excellent spot to just relax with a couple... Stayed at the Stonewater over a Sunday night and would definitely stay there again. The other reviews capture all the great things one could say. The location could not be any better for a full experience of Gananoque and being able to walk around to the different shops and the waterfront.

The list of wonderfuls is long - wonderful comfy bed with abundant bedding, quiet, quiet, quiet, beautifully maintained historic building, extravagant choice of breakfasts, great setting in a lovely small town with plenty to see and experience and encourage walking. Jeff and Sue are in my opinion perfect hosts - genuinely warm and friendly, offering but never insisting or intruding,... More

Home now and find I still think about the pleasures of our time at Stonewater (stayed 3 nights). First of all. I miss the home cooked breakfast on the screened veranda overlooking the harbour. Generous and cooked to order! Jeff and Sue were perfect hosts - available when you needed them, friendly and informative, and giving you lots of space... More

This place is simply the best deal in town. It is right near the boat docks, block from the Thousand Islands Theatre, and has the best pub/restaurant that you could want in this town. The owner offered us a package deal that included dinner for two with wine and theatre tickets. We grabbed this deal and recommend it for everyone.... More

Had a wonderful time at Sue and Jeff's B and B. Despite the fact that it was Jeff's birthday, he still was up early to cook our tasty breakfast. We stayed in the Loft which had a lovely window seat. That was my favorite place to sit and look out at the water. Although they don't show a picture of... More

I stayed at this beautiful B&B with my friends during our recent trip to Gananoque. It is located right next to the water, where the boat cruise departs. The hosts were very friendly, and the room was comfortable and clean! The highlight of my stay was the made to order breakfast. The chef was happy to fulfill your breakfast request... More

Great location, NICE room!! The place has some age (which is lovely) so also character. Great pub and restaurant is part of the premises. But the best part is Jeff and Sue - the owners. We felt we were staying with friends rather than a business. They gave us great local insight, history, and things to do - our own... More
