It was our first time to Magog and have visited B and B's many times. This was a very good one. I don't know how the previous owners were, but the new hosts, Dominique and Yves do their utmost to ensure you have a great stay - even lending tools to fix a car! The Turner room was beautifully decorated,... more

After reading all the terrific reviews I had high expectations of the Manoir Merry and I have to say that I was not disappointed. The place is spotless and very cosy, the food is delicious and the new owners Dominique and Yves are very friendly and eager to please. They have only been there a month and already they ``own``... more

We enjoyed staying here. Great breakfast and stay exactly as described by others. Very clean (cleaner than my house). Brian is very nice and enjoyable person to meet. The only negative was that I am 6 foot-2" and had to put my feet through holes in the foot of the bed to fit. I strongly recommend staying here. Even our... more

We were fortunate to stay at this B&B the last day in Nov. and the first day of Dec. 2008 Host: Bryan is a charming and bright man who speaks English and French perfectly. But even more importantly he loves to cook. He was attentive and available. One breakfast was as follows: First course: assorted cheeses from the local monastery,... more

From the moment we walked into the warm and cozy interior of the Manoir to the second we departed into the snow, Bryan and Dianne made us feel completely at home. The warmth of their hospitality, the charm of the decor of the rooms, and the abundance of a beautifully cooked, and elegantly served, breakfast made our stay just perfect.... more

The hosts were lovely. The breakfast was extraordinary - three courses! The only problem that I had was with my room - the Lindsay Room. I was the only guest booked that night, and I was given the smallest room. The room was on the front of the house, so I got the traffic noise. The room is so filled... more

We thank the writer for the review however there are a couple of points that we would like to clarify. As the traveller was the only guest booked for the evening he/she could have chosen any of the other rooms including one in the back of the house for the reduction of noise as the room mentionned does effectively front...

We found Au Manoir de la Merry on Trip Advisor. If so many loved the B & B, we thought we would try it. What a wonderful experience. It is a grand old house with beautifully appointed rooms. Great coffee on the landing from 7:30 am and the breakfast is to die for. Wonderful presentation, delicious and a different menu... more

This has to be one of the best B&Bs on our trip - immaculately clean, well-presented, well-furnished, and with the longest wifi password I have ever seen! The location is excellent, just across the road from the lake, and a couple of minutes walk from the main street and its restaurants and shops (but we ate well at Benito's which... more

Whilst on a tour of this part of Canada from Manchester U.K four of us stayed for two nights in Sept 2008 (27th and 28th) both our rooms were excellent and better than most hotels. The hosts Bryan and Diane made us very welcome and Bryan’s breakfasts are something to experience. The house has great facilities, a fabulous front porch... more
