Spent one night at Le Chantecler. Had a terrible sleep as the mattress was lopsided and extremely uncomfortable. I woke up at least 10 times feeling like I was falling off the bed. The hotel itself is outdated, but the grounds are quite nice. The rooms are clean, but definitely need some updating (especially new beds!). Very beautiful view of... More

Needs some updating but very clean.Staff is friendly and always ready to help with anything. The general manager,Mr Dominic,is very accessible and will go out of his way to please you. Good getaway in the Laurentians.Sure there are other hotels with upscale rooms, but they come with an upscale price. The location of this property is amazing! When the owners decide... More

My husband and I got married at the Chantecler Hotel this January and had an absolutely amazing experience with the hotel from the very beginning to the very end! When we were first scoping out venues for our wedding we contacted a few different hotels in the Laurentian area, and many of them took a long time and a few... More

The Chantecler is a large, and somehow old, resort. The place is generally well preserved, at least most of it. The first thing we have noticed when reaching our room, is some kind of cigarette smoke smell. It goes away during our stay, maybe because we get use to it? Otherwise, our room was clean. The furniture is out dated... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 1 night and we had an alright stay. We had to change rooms 3 times because of the noise since there were alot of drunken teenagers staying there since it was the snowboarding shakedown at Mt St Sauveur. The rooms were not sound insulated whatsoever.. you could not even tell if the people... More

My husband and I went to the Chantecler hotel situated 45 minutes north of Montreal. Our stay was a memorable one. Good greeting and welcoming during check-in. The room had an amazing view and was just spotless. Guest amenities were good. We had dinner on Saturday night in the dining room (buffet style). It was a real gastronomical experience. The... More

The buffet Saturday night, although expensive, is one of the best I've ever had. It's a 10 minute drive or shuttle to Ski Chantecler, which was a really good ski hill. Large terrain and good conditions.

I must say I enjoy nice things in life but this is below than average. Bought the deal on Tuango for 98$ wich was half price but I wouldn't pay more than 30$ a night. Hotel looks like a motel, bad reception service, bad experience, definitely needs upgrading. Wouldn't recommend that for a getaway especially not a romantic one. In... More

This has to be the strangest hotel I have ever stayed at and nothing along the way made up for it. I could see why they advertise with Deal Find because I never in my right mind ever spend more than the 100$ I did spend to stay here. My room smelt like dog, the bed abd pillows were awful,... More

We rented three rooms for the March break weekend, a bit crowdy but hey...it's March break. . Room was old but good, clean, and my son who has severe allergic to dust didn't have any reaction in the room (meaning it was well cleaned). They have a good variety of hot breakfast. The pool is kind a small but my... More
