I booked the room by phone, asked for the room with the view on the lake in the part of Chauteau named Seigneurie. Arrived and got a room in Auberge, the furthest corner with windows on the wall of bushes. Part C, the simpliest, cheapest part located the most far from the pool, restaurant, lake etc. They explaned that Seigneurie... More

Looking for a hotel that was very close to the Grand Place, but this one was a little further than expected. The outside looked "ghetto" and the surrounding neighbourhood didn't leave me feeling confident in my choice. The room was smaller than the pictures led on and not enough outlets to charge the two phones and camera we brought with... More

a Classic hotel but needs major renovations. Rooms are nice and clean. Hotel was beautiful many years ago but feels like a blast from the past. A breakfast was available but not worth the extra money.

Perhaps it is because we asked for a room overlooking the lake and perhaps all those rooms have not been refurbished, but our room apart from being quite small and was definitely showing signs of many years of occupancy. Getting to the room itself was not very clear, the first elevator we took, a service elevator, lead us to maintenance... More

My first visit was in 1990 and I had been impressed with the quality of the staff, food, location, and the rooms. On this second visit we had been placed in the renovated location of the hotel.(note: communicating locked door in these rooms). Good for families who need more than one room. Rooms are more specious than the more rustic... More

Terrible service - no attention to details - Not recommended for groups - poor choice and quality of food. Very poorly organized even with a group of over 100 pp who have booked 1 year in advance. Staff do not smile. Banquets staff and manager who were on duty need major training in service - in such hotel guests have... More

Athough we had booked a year in advance when we arrived, our rooms were'nt ready so we had to wait 45 minutes in a hall to receive our keys. The meals we not served at tables but in a buffet and the food was'nt even warm, found hair in cake, could not identify the taste of the cool soup, nothing was... More

Our 60 + Club went for a buffet Lunch. The buffet was low keyed as they made a special rate for the group. We had two choices, 1 - was a Breaded Fish and a Roast Pork in a Pepper corn Sauce, A mix of Sit Fried or it seemed like grilled vegetables. Scalloped Potatoes 3 Salads, Soup and Buns.... More

I had bought a discount coupon for this hotel but even after the discount we found that this hotel was not worth it. We arrived on a Friday afternoon for a 4 pm check-In. Our information was confirmed and we were given our "executive room". Once we got to the room we thought this can not be correct. I called... More
