I am rating the hotel and the restaurant separately, as we had extremely different experiences in each of them. We were offered this one-night stay as a gift; therefore I cannot refer to the quality-price ratio; I am rating the hotel room in absolute terms. This hotel probably is the worst place I've been given to stay at in the... More

My wife and I spent 3 nights in December at L'eau à la Bouche Hotel. In 3 nights we tried 3 rooms. Do not try rooms with double (queen) beds unless you are alone, it looks like the double beds are very soft, and when 2 peoples try to sleep they just meet in the middle of the bed !... More

When I pulled in to the parking lot of the Hotel I could not believe my eyes,The hotel sits on a very busy highway, traffic 24 hr. our room was facing the highway so we kept all windows and door closed, honestly the hotel looked like a run down motel, The parking neglected half asphalt half dirt. The hotel badly... More

This hotel has received rave reviews in the past mostly for the food. For whatever reason in recent years, the food quality has gone down. However the wine cellar remains very good and we were the beneficiaries of an excellent sommelier, namely the chap who writes the wine reviews for the Gazette. The premises are so-so. The restaurant is in... More

My wife and I went first in January for a romantic week-end at Hotel/Spa l'Eau à la Bouche. We have been treated like family, the staff is very friendly and the room overlooking Chanteclerc ski hills offered an enchanting view and was very comfortable. We very much liked the nordic spa, cozy, human size, very clean. Of course the highlight... More

Me and my wife went to l'eau a la bouche last month for a weekend. We live in montreal, its only 45 min to an hour ride, and we absolutly loved it !!! The relais gourmand restaurant is just heaven in your mouth ! Simply the best restaurant in the laurentide !!! Anne Desjardins, the renown chef, even came out... More

We stayed in a Superior room in early January. Our room was big, clean quiet comfortable and contemporary. TV was small but that's not the point when you head up to the Laurentians. We had a great view of the ski hill. The spa was great, especially after a day on the slopes. It is a bit small but there... More

My husband and I received a gift certificate for this "Chateau Relais" as a wedding gift and what a disapointment is was. Very small nordic baths outdoor NOT SUITABLE at all for the number of guests that the hotel can lodge. As for the room, i find it quite hard to explain how come there are dead flies in the... More

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night, and we definately think it does not stand up to the standars of the Relais & Chateaux. The location is dissapointing, the hotel is near a busy road and there is no place to take a short walk, the surroundings are OK but not more than that, and overall - the price... More

We have been greatly recommented l'Eau a la bouche by many locals as the place to go in the Laurentians. How this place is called a Relais & Chateaux fools me. It is quite ordinary, alongside a busy road, no garden to speak of, a pool fenced by an ugly chainlink facing the road, the hotel is shabby, greatly needs... More
