We stayed at this B&B on our third night of bicycling the P'tit Train du Nord linear trail. It was a bit more difficult to find than other B&B's that we stayed at during our trip (some people in our party overshot the auberge). The B&B offered locked overnight storage for bicycles. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Our room... More

It was a pleasure to meet you on your bicycle trip! As the term "highway" can mean different things around the world and to avoid misleading some readers, I would like to specify that we are located on a country road where the speed limit is 50km/h (30mi/h) and that there are almost no cars passing by at night. The... More

This was the third stop on our cycling the Linear Park and proved to be a little on the difficult side to find ... it was signed, but not obvious. It is a little-ways off the trail and fronted onto a rather busy stretch of highway. The owners were welcoming and helpful in getting us settled in and the bikes... More

We are happy to hear that you had a good time at Auberge de la Gare! Usually we have the pleasure to drive our guests to the restaurant ourselves, it is a good opportunity for us to meet nice people. Unfortunately, it is not always possible and we do have to call a taxi from time to time. You are... More

Under new ownership this auberge is a special treat. The rooms are well appointment and the innkeepers are working especially hard to make this a first class experience. Although a little difficult to find from le Petit du Nord trail it is worth figuring out how to get there. New signage would be helpful, but once we arrived we were... More

Last night of our bike trip. We stopped here to check in then continued to Saint Jerome to pick up our car. When we returned we sat on the patio and enjoyed the fantastic weather. At check in the owner explained that they would transfer us to dinner at 6:15. At 5:30 she came out and said that since we... More

The Auberge de la Gare is located right on the bike path, but also is only feet from the road and trucks coming up the hill are loud. When we visited many of the advertised amenities, the lounge and bar, were not available. There was no television and the town is five miles away. The room itself was clean and... More

We enjoyed our stay at Auberge de la Gare in late June. It was the third and final overnight stop on our delightful cycle tour of the “P’tit Train du Nord” trail, from Mont Laurier to St. Jerome, Quebec. This historic and comfortable home sits right off the recreational trail, near the town of Saint-Adèle. It was a pleasure to... More

Really enjoyed this charming, antique filled inn. Hosts were generous and warm. Arrived in time to sample great Belgium style beer served on the deck. Great deal was the dinner in town. We were driven to town my the owner and picked up after dinner. This is especially valuable when we were without a car as we were traveling by... More

Linda and Yvon are warm, welcoming, friendly hosts at their beautiful auberge. My husband and I stopped there on our bike trip on Le P'Tit Train du Nord and found it easily just beside the trail. My husband and I stopped there as part of our cycling trip on Le p’tit train du nord. Linda and Yvon were charming hosts. Because we got there very early in the season, the auberge was quiet and we got the chance to chat with them a bit more. The auberge is beautifully renovated and decorated in the “country’ style....
