Colle Cesoni is conveniently close to the Via Salaria (SS4), so its is only a one hour drive from Rome. It is located in the beautiful Sabine hills. Rome is busy, noisy and crowded. The waiters there are rude. In the Sabine hills, it is the opposity. If you seek rest and quiet, this is the place. The people here... More

The agriturismo is a really nice and easy distance from Rome. Giovanni welcomed us to il portico - perfect little set up for a family of 4, 2 kids aged 4 and 7 loved the balcony sleeping area. We bought our shopping for the week around the local area - there is a great alimentari just up the hill in... More

Very nice accommodation with an amazing view owned by a lovely family. High quality restaurant with delicious Italian food (lunch, dinner). Lovely garden with a nice swimming pool. The small town is within walking distance.

I States at Colle Cesoni with my son and daughter-in-law and my two grandchildren, age 2 and 6 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The scenery is beautiful and the atmosphere relaxing and peaceful, situated as it is off the beaten track. The apartments were comfortable and charming and the host Giovanni and his wife were very helpful. We loved having acces... More

At Colle Cesoni there are 4 apartments, 2 of which are completely private and 2 are under the same roof (2 appts in 1 building). We stayed in Il Forno, which is an ancient little house, with a sitting room / kitchen, a separate bedroom, bathroom and a private garden. The apartment was very well equipped, with a Nespresso machine... More

I have been there only for a day, but I had the pleasure to meet and enjoy the company of the family owner of the agriturismo. The formula is the usual one for an Italian accommodation of this kind such as welcoming host, tight and beautiful place, characteristic and ancient apartments, tasty and fresh food. However, my expectations were highly... More

Colle Cesoni offered us exactly what we were looking for - an quick escape from Rome, a place to completely unplug, eat well and swim. With a beautiful view of the valley and mountains, the agriturismo is surrounded by olive groves and gardens. Each apartment has its own garden and BBQ. The owners offered all the comforts of a hotel... More

Words cannot express how wonderful our stay was here. I've traveled extensively throughout Italy and this has to be one of, if not the best experience. It is not to be missed. It is off the beaten path and that's part of what makes it so special. The cottages have so much charm and character and the view is breathtaking. The... More

Colle Cesoni is really worth a visit. Just an hour from Rome and it really feels like you're in the middle of another world. Giovanni is the prefect host who can't do enough to ensure you enjoy your stay. He'll also keep you entertained for hours with stories about his past as a mayor of central Rome, stories about the... From November 3 – 10, 2013 we visited Colle Cesoni again and enjoyed the olive harvest. The different ways of harvest (by hand or with the help of a plastic rake) is a good exercise for staying in good shape. At the end of the day you can visit the olive mill and follow the process from olive to oil.... More
