We arrived at 3AM after fighting horrendous Easter week traffic from Manila and having spent almost two additional hours driving around both in and out of Mabalacat trying to locate the hotel, which is not on McArthur Highway at all (although there's a tiny sign that's virtually unreadable in the dark) but is back at the end of a side... First off, I should state that I knew when I booked that this hotel was rated about three star, so it would be unfair to compare it to higher grade establishments. For the sake of this review, I'll attempt to limit my comments to a realistic appraisal of what is reasonable to expect of a three star establishment. Woodland Resort... More

Was really looking forward to staying here as it appeared to be a relaxing haven in the otherwise chaotic Angeles City. Lovely pool, garden and rooms are average. Bu absolutely not worth the money. 1) As others discovered, the breakfast is not only stone cold (including the coffee) but the real kick in the balls is that each room you... More

I stayed here a week. Why? Well it's a lot quieter than over on fields ave. The place has been taken over recently by some mercenary Korean guys who make a concerted effort to keep the place in shape, with limited results. The Filipinos working there are there only because they need a job as the Koreans treat non -... More

I’m sure that we will NEVER stay at this hotel again. We booked a deluxe room for two people this February. The price is relatively high in that area while the service is poor and the staff were not as competent as we expected. The location is quite convenient but it is off the main road and guests need to... More

Since my previous review, it has indeed changed ownership. The Koreans own and manage the place now and mostly improved the property and experience. The Filippino staff is still competent and friendly. Room quality has vastly improved with a complete room renovation except the CR which was pretty nice already with all the marbel surfaces. The large pool is still... More

I have been staying here for several years, mainly since its quiet, out of the way and has an excellent pool for swimming laps. However, the rooms were dark and dingy with wifi at the restaurant area. Recently, within the last year or so, the Koreans came in and took over ownership, and have made many changes. The rooms have... More
