Our visit was last May 2012, I had to click (May 2014) because my dates were not available. As my 3rd Aman property and the most remote one to have visited, we stayed in an Ocean Tent. This place is very different from the other properties of Aman, very rustic, but very luxurious for a camping feel! I knew we... More

Tents - glamping does not get better than this. We were exhausted after a stressful few months ending with a country move and we just needed to relax. We spent a week at Amanwana and it was bliss. The weather in Aug is perfect, we dived everyday under the fantastic supervision of Steve from the dive centre. Mountain biking, sunset... More

We stayed one week in Amanwana and it was as close to perfection as you can get. From the staff and service to the location, activities, meals, finding such level in such a location was totally above our expectations. I know that hotel staff teams come and go but by all means, try to enjoy this gem under the management... More

Overall an excellent stay with many positives. The diving stands out as the most memorable part of the stay. The dive staff is excellent, hard working, and helpful in improving my diving skills. All of the dive sites were excellent - even the most basic house reef dive from the beach. The facilities are probably a tick below the typical... More

The private island was as mesmerising in real life as it was in the photographs. Living in those magnificent tents takes you into a different era of travel altogether. There is so much wildlife on the island, and under the water. Castaway on the private island, it really feels yours. The bet memories money can buy. Read my full review... More

I am almost loath to write this review for fear that too many people wanting to experience Amanwana's superb hospitality will ruin what is best about it. We stayed seven nights and dived six days at Amanwana and it was one of the best holidays we have ever had. This was my first time 'glamping' and thoroughly enjoyed it -... More

We had a fantastic time at this resort. Tent - well room with a canvas roof was very spacious and well laid out - with excellent views of the sunset and the bay. The food in the restaurant had a decent selection to choose from each night and the quality was excellent. The bar / restaurant was also a great... More

I love staying in luxury tents. This remote luxury tented camp on Moyo island, Indonesia is one of my favorite places in the world. You take a short 45 min- 1 hr. sea plane flight from Bali over the island of Lombok and the volcano and land on the sea pulling up to the dock at Amanwana. What a way... More

We come in Pulau Moyo since 2005 and every august we come back in the nicest resort in Indonesia. If you want to stay in touch with a great nature, wonderful people, have great diving/snorkelling and fishing this is the place for you. Obviously you can find monkeys, deers, insects or small snakes, but after all you are in the... More
