We had a wonderful romantic escape here. We enjoyed the charm and peacefulness of the resort and the beautiful water and diving which was a relaxed and personalised experience. It is obviously not as sophisticated as the Aman resorts on Bali and the restaurant fare is much simpler but it makes up for this by the Robinson Crusoe escapism and... More

We moored off Moyo Island and went ashore by zodiac. Some people set off for a hike into Moyo National Park where several took the opportunity to cool off in a waterfall after their hot walk, before returning to the beach. The rest of us explored the village, strung out along the beach, meeting many of the villagers and other... More

This is my first trip to Moyo Island and found it was an interesting & great experience as I never stay in a such nature jungle as Moyo. Feels like I stay in a private Island as the environment is so quite and peaceful.

I cannot express the importance of taking this boat and seeing this part of the world. The SECRET of this cruise is to become an adventurer that dives, NOT the reverse. Make the crew take you to the little islands and meet the locals... Shake hands and give gifts. It will all be new for you AND new for the... More

This lovely 22 room jungle retreat is great for having a quiet time and for doing water activities like diving. It is situated on Moyo Island which can be accessed by seaplane from Bali. It is not very far from a village called Labuan Aji where you can take a WW2 jeep to visit an amazing waterfall you can swim... More

we have just come back from an amazing 5 days on the Amanikan which is the luxury live aboard that sails out of Amanwana or Sorong in Indonesia. The boat itself whilst not a luxury yacht is exactly within the Aman style and provides the unique experiences tailored to individual needs that the Aman resorts pride themselves on. There are... This was our second time at Amanwana and it did not disappoint this time either. We took our family with us this time including out four-year-old grandson. The resort still offered the same great accommodation and water based activities but it was the level of service that really stood out this time. The staff were amazing and treated out grandson... We've just returned from a dream holiday at Amanwana. It's a beautiful resort, tucked between the jungle and the warm turquoise sea. Accommodation is in luxury 'tents' which are attractively presented and offer every imaginable comfort. Ours was right on the white beach. Staff are discreet, efficient, very smiley, friendly and warm. Deer and macaque monkey gambol about. Its all... More

We spent a magical week here last year. I must say that it is very hard to get to. You first have to go the main island and then take a long car ride and then get on a their luxury yacht to take you to Moyo Island. This resort is different from the usual Aman resorts, because of it... More

Our visit was last May 2012, I had to click (May 2014) because my dates were not available. As my 3rd Aman property and the most remote one to have visited, we stayed in an Ocean Tent. This place is very different from the other properties of Aman, very rustic, but very luxurious for a camping feel! I knew we... More
