We stayed in one of the cheapest rooms you could get minus camping. The bathrooms were separate to the rooms and shared with the couple of rooms next to you. The beds were clean and comfy. Mosquitos between five and seven pm were a nightmare but what do you expect! The restaurant food is simple but the smoothies were great.... More

Spent 4 nights here in early May. Booked through PJ in Trang. Although the weather was mostly fine (just a couple of overnight storms), the season has already ended. Most places were closed or empty, and I had the beach pretty much to myself each day. Great elevated restaurant on one corner of the beach which was brilliant to chill... More

Very good stay . Located 5 minutes from the beach . Rooms are decent price and what you would expect for a wooden bungalow. Staff are really good and help you with anything. Food is cheap and good quality.

pickup from trang airport was smooth except unnecessary waiting for the longtail and then we had to move 2 boats in middle of the sea... room was better than expected (went with low expectations), aircon functioned only after all retired and lights were off - read after 10pm. dusting can be better...someone before us has written on the dust on... Good location near by the charlie beach and good rates. Bungalow was nice and big enough for two people. Shower's water smelled quite bad but didnt bother us so much. Free wifi is provided at the restaurant and is quite slow. But you need to remember that you are on a island and any internet is good... staff is nice... More

Pro's Efficient free pick up from ferry, quick check in Nice restaurant with well priced food and drinks Good proximity to beach Pleasant staff Inexpensive rooms Nice veranda with lovely jungle views, great for watching birds, monkeys and other wildlife Con's Poorly maintained grounds - leaves and garden debris all over, never swept or cleared. about 600 baht per night, a pretty decent clean rooms with fans, people are nice and welcoming - I enjoyed my stay, definitely fit for backpackers and people on a budget. Though I must say, the nearby Meow bungalows (and restaurant) is more recommended.. they are not on trip advisor, but they are closer to the beach, and they have... More

As we were cycling around Koh Mook, it started to rain. It was lunch time, so we stopped there. It seemed a bit too "simple" but we had no choice. We have been coming to Thailand for many years and have been living there for 6 years. It was the best food we ever had. Prawns with garlic very fresh... More

The place is a bit further from the beach like 5-10 minutes walk. When you arrive at the beach you can go either through the Charlie's resort and inland over the road or you go to the left side of the beach (looking inland) back to a small hotel restaurant and over a small gate of the resort. We had... More

Had Farang Bungalows is a good place to stay. It's location, just back from the beach, means it's not overpriced. I chose a fan bungalow, which cost me £31 for 3 nights. I found it cool enough, as the weather was cloudy and ac rooms were more than double the price. There were cheaper rooms, with shared facilities, but, at... More
